I've had hip pain for the past year. I'm not one week post op and feeling good! Great doctor!

I can not express in words the amazing care that Dr. Mauro delivers. He is comforting and truly has the patience’s need on the forefront. He took the time to explain detail what was happening.

Dr. Mauro has done surgery on both of my hips (07/20, 04/22). I am still in recovery for my second hip but he did a great job with my first. He is always great When I go in to see him and listens to any concerns I have. I couldn’t recommend him enough

If you're going to see Dr. Mauro, make sure you have an interesting problem. He had zero time or interest in my run-of-the-mill ankle fracture. In the three weeks I've been under his care, I've had 14 minutes with him. I timed it. When I sent a message, asking for clarification, he sent me cut-and-paste information about what my injury is, not about my treatment, which is what I wanted clarified. Zero stars if I could.

Take a look around his waiting room and see all the professional athletes himself and his team take care of. One of the best in the country! You are In good hands with this team!

I fell in my home and ended up with a malleolous avulsion fracture. I have other medical conditions that made this concerning to me, including diabetes, which means I heal more slowly especially in my extremities. Dr. Mauro ended up seeing me although he's a hip specialist I guess because he was the only ortho available in the quick timeframe I needed. I've seen him twice now and will not go back. I got conflicting information between the two appointments directly from him. Never once did he mentioned the diabetes. He never asked what my daily activities look like to cater my treatment to my unusual responsibilities. He has not given me a clear picture of what my treatment path is supposed to look like and he has pushed me off to a physical therapist. I sent a message to his office and got a very condescending answer.

Dr. Craig Mauro was so AMAZING!! I’ve been having pain in my right hip for about a month now after falling up the steps in my home. Another ortho did x-rays & an MRI (MRA). I took the discs to Dr. Mauro to see if he could help me. He not only figured out the issue with my hip, explained everything that needs to be done in order for me to get the surgery I need, how my insurance company needs me to do 6 weeks of physical therapy, he has a great personality & bedside manner! I’m 39 yrs.old & have had left hip surgery done by Dr Charles Burke the 2nd. Both Dr. Burke the 3rd & Dr. Mauro are in the same practice which makes me feel even better! The surgery is 2006 done by Dr. Burke hasn’t really given me any trouble besides normal aches and pains. Now, I’m completely confident that Dr. Mauro is going to fix my right hip as well as Dr. Burke fixed my left hip!! I would recommend their practice to anyone and everyone who needs a great ortho!!

Rushed me in and out and barely listened to my concerns.

Had first total knee replacement 8/16 had revision 12/16. Told Dr Mauro and staff there was something wrong, something just wasn't right. He and his staff said I needed to let it heal more and I needed more PT. Saw another Dr and he ran tests including a bone scan. Received another total knee 8/18, now it is fixed. Dr. Mauro and staff did not listen to my concerns and blew me off even though I am a nurse. I guess in the long run it was a good thing because I found a Dr who knew what he was doing!
