This guy butchered my neck and his placement of the SCS was sloppy and additional hardware was placed in my back without prior consent.

This little twerp is a butcher. He totally cut and chopped like I was not worth doing even a good job at replacing an SCS in my cervical spine. He added extra hardware in my back as was too lazy to do it right. When I asked him to explain what happened he totally ignored me.

Sae him last year 2021. Did 3 consecutive surgeries on my back. He crippled me and left me unable to live my life. I wish I had never met him.

After reading these reviews wow! Sounds like they were in the room with me when this tight panted little twerp was condescending and telling me twice- how at least I wasn’t paralyzed- I know that he hadn’t read my chart, hadn’t read my messages, hadn’t looked at my test results. I seriously cannot warn everyone enough about this guy. He lies plain & simple. He doesn’t care about people in fact I think he openly loathes the fact that he is forced to interact with humans on a daily basis. Perhaps radiology would have been a better option for him. He could sit alone in the dark & belittle X-rays 24/7 . The entire medical profession & community at large would be better off if he retired or changed careers. Even his PA knew he was a ?! and pretty much said so. Oh & btw he’s not One of those doctors that just lack social skills or is so brilliant that one can forgive his lack of empathy and outward hostility toward humankind. He’s simply a mean, uncaring, egomaniacal dimwit who is compensating for the fact that he will never be more than he is right now. Actually it’s sad. I’m glad that I’m not him. It must be so lonely being that boorish. He extended my constant pain for almost a year telling me something different every time that I saw him. It’s true that he doesn’t know who you are and what’s more he doesn’t care. I’m glad that I had someone with me at every visit to witness his incomparable stupidity. Oh but he performs over 600 surgeries a year - thanks non doc but I won’t be one of them.

Something happened after neck fusion following day while getting dress all nerves lit up had to give me morphine and steroids intravenous to this day no one has the honesty to tell me what happened ,ended in rehab facility good luck with urs having problems ever since

Saw Dr Tomczyk after having unsuccessful back surgery with another Dr. Spent about 3 mins. with me looking at my MRI & then said no more back surgeries. No explanation as to why no more surgeries. Sent me to see a pain specialist to have a Stimulator implanted in my spine. Then he left office. I was disappointed as I had been told he was an excellent Dr. Did not find him to be very caring or helpful.

Ignored my Postoperative pain almost not paying attention. I was grossly infected which was ignored by this neurosurgeon, fortunately diagnosed by orthopedist. Required two further surgeries, closure by a plastic surgeon and six weeks of IV antibiotics. Worse now than before surgery.

I would not recommend Dr Tomczyk, He is very abrupt with his comments & then he leaves the room. I had an unsuccessful back surgery with another Dr & he was recommended to my by an ER nurse. He said no more surgery since the first one was not successful, no reason other than that. I have been in constant pain for a year & a half, I am worse off since the surgery than I was before. I now have to use a cane & I limp. I know people who needed 3 surgeries before they were ok. Have to find a new DR.

would not recommend. had multiple appt over 3 years, was supposed to schedule surgery at my last appointment. I saw a completely different PA and then he, Dr. Tomycz came in and didn't have a clue who i was or what was in my chart. copied everything from my chart to take to my PCP to request a referral to a different dr.. stay away.....find another dr.

I suffered from worsening spinal stenosis, sciatica and neuropathy for years. In Sep 2020 the pain worsened to unbearable and excruciating. I resorted to walking with a walker and could no longer operate my business. Dr. Tomycz was professional and serious and gave me great confidence at my consultation. Three close friends who are physicians recommended him highly and said they would allow him to operate on them. Dr. Tomycz performed a laminectomy and L3 through L5 lumbar fusions. At 2 weeks post op, the pain was at a 1 or 2 out of 10. At 5 weeks post op the pain was gone entirely. I feel like a new person. Dr. Tomycz is a miracle worker. He knew what was wrong and fixed it. I am forever grateful for his expertise, skill & knowledge. His PA's and office staff are professional, helpful and responsive. The outcome is beyond anything I could have imagined. No doubt, God sent me this miracle worker.
