List of Randall L Beatty's Reviews
The other day, I saw Dr. Beatty at AGH. He was going to give me a steroid injection for my chalazion but I assumed he he must have Parkinson’s because his hands were shaking noticeably and uncontrollably, which made me very nervous because I was fearful, getting stuck in the eye. He attempted a numbing shot first, but it was quite painful. I decided to follow the alternative approach he suggested—using a warm compress and antibiotic ointment—instead of the injection or incision and expression. I believe this doctor should retire. Operating on someone’s eyes and doing things with very unsteady and shaky hands due to most likely Parkinson’s disease is an accident and malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen.
Rude office I requested verification of illness from this office for a personal matter. In short, I was told since I hadn’t seen Dr. Beatty since February 2023 that he would be unable to do that. The voicemail that I received back regarding this was dismissive, rude, and frankly demeaning. I will be taking my chronic condition elsewhere.
Experience was very professional
Best Surgeon Ever
Dr. Beatty by far is the best in his field. Very professional and very good bedside manner.
Wasted $67 for a 15 minute appointment where he addressed only one of the cited reasons I scheduled the appointment and he literally power walked me to the front desk (to pay more $ on top of the copay) before I could ask him any questions. Very unprofessional. I left with a $30 sticker on my glasses lense AND a huge greasy fingerprint under the sticker. I need to literally get a new (expensive) lense and pay out of pocket for another eye exam in order to not look at the smudges. Luckily my double vision is just as bad as ever BUT both images are very crisp and clear (outside of the smudged areas!) instead of just having a 'ghost' image. Just the result I was hoping for! Seriously regretting wasting time and money seeing this doctor. Good news is that he said that he had a similar eye issue and stopped having double vision after 3 months (I've had it almost 4 and it has not improved). So, good for him I guess? Not sure why his similar but different experience was relevant? Fail.
I was in a terrible car accident and suffered a severe eye injury. Dr. Beatty and his team were amazing. From exams to surgeries, I was confident I was in the best hands possible.
Dr. Beatty and his staff are first rate, very professional. Thorough testing, in depth questions provide wonderful treatment.
Extremely Professional Very kind chair side manner
beatty the butcher. beatty RUINED my eyes by trying to perform surgery on them and he was over aggressive. had to fly across the US to have his botched eye job repaired by an ocular surgeon who was shocked that an ocular surgeon did a 1960 blephoplasty

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
