Great doc. I had vitrectomy performed in right eye due to PVD after cataract surgery. Vision is clear now. He's very down to earth and kind, explained everything. He's pretty flexible with appointments and will see you when is convenient to you. He can do this surgery in his sleep, so don't have concerns if you're hesitant about any retinal surgery with him. He's been doing retinal surgery for quite a while and is one of the best. Very nice man as well.

Very kind and professional Scheduled retina surgery on a Saturday evening after an ER visit while traveling. By the time I returned home on Sunday the coordination was complete. Met Dr Verstraeten moments before surgery and instantly felt better. A very nice person yet very professional.
