They just good for only checkups & medications. That's it. But their other service are subpar & disappointed at best. They try to encourage me to be on contact with some life support stuff, but they're not very helpful & can't help me. I'm always on my own.

UMPC Montefiore is charging a hospital fee and Dr co pay for same visit. This is more than doubling my co-pay to see my PCP. The bills used to be sent to insurance together so there was only 1 co pay. Now since sending 2 separate claims to insurance you are paying 2 co pays. Advice check your bills *especially if you use auto pay* and avoid see PCP Dr at UPMC General Internal Medicine 3459 5th Avenue UPMC Montefiore, 9 South PITTSBURGH PA 15213-3236. If Dr is at UPMC Internal Medicine look for an off hospital office as same practice does not bill 2 bills for the same appointment. There is no facility fee at satellite offices. This will save you from the upcharge UPMC Facility fee to see your PCP.

About one month ago, in a semi-hypothermic, delirious state, I was transported from South Hills Family Medicine to Montefiore where blood tests were performed despite my protests. After several hours, transportation was arranged to "return" me to Pleasant Hills, but tired of waiting for the arranged taxi, I walked To say that I was dissatisfied with the "treatment" for hypothermia is an understatement.

The doctors are very nice and the operating rooms are clean. The food is delicious. They made me feel welcome.
