Scheduling is a nightmare and ppl are so rude! It should almost be mandatory that ur a nice person when working in or for a hospital. You get transfered a million times then end up talking to the least helpful but rudest person.

I wait fod ibuprofin over 45 minutes. The dr said bring it back. I was here for over 3 hrs worst place and doeasnt even have a bed.

Amazing nurses!! Had surgery there and have never been happier!

I would rather die than go back to this hospital. Terrible people here

I had cancer surgery here six years ago and had excellent care. Someone from the dietary department came to talk with me about what I liked and didn’t like to eat. She was trying to accommodate me after major surgery. The lady who cleaned my room every day talked with me and was very friendly and helpful. I also had an outstanding surgeon. Dr Celebrezze and the OR team got me through a big surgery. Thank you all!!

I normally don't do reviews but in this case I will make an exception. I spent 5 days in passavant for blood clots in my leg and a herniated disc. The time I spent there I was in severe pain. The staff all the way from the house keepers to head of the nursing and the doctors and technicians were the most caring people I have ever encountered. Really good people.

UPMC Passavant -McCandles is my favorite hospital. They are very nice and when I went in there for what I thought was Lyme disease they did extensive testing and gave me treatment as soon as I got the test results! The staff is excellent

This hospital helped me in January with a dislocation. I came back on Memorial Day for the same issue worried it happened again and was treated weirdly by the DR. I won't put a name out there but I also seen the notes this Dr wrote about me in the portal and it actually makes me not want to use this hospital for care again and feel as though he basically said I was doing this on purpose. Sadly DRs push patients out and make us afraid to go to the ER and be judged by doing this stuff. It's clearly on my record I have a condition that causes dislocations. Made it a week from that day still in that pain and I went to sewickley hospital a week later (yesterday) and low and behold dislocated via x-ray not to mention the Dr at passavant wouldn't even do a scan and I did ask him to explaining I was a weird case and could still have movement during a dislocation, and he could care less of what I was saying to him. they do teach you if you think your jaw is out of place go to the hospital immediately as it can affect your breathing and of course I get this kind of treatment making me feel like not going. It's just disheartening because passavant McKnight it my local hospital that I won't go to again for emergency care, to be treated as if I'm making this up yea because that's definitely something I want to do at 9pm on a work night is sit at the ER. I have always heard nothing but good things about this hospital but then again it could be the main hospital and not the ER. I wouldn't even normally write a review like this against a hospital but the care I received there was very disheartening and I ended up having to go out of my way and pocket once again to another hospital to actual find out yes it was a dislocation. Thanks DR!!

They sady k*ll my grandpa in 2022! 1 of the nurse didn't know what to do then they to k-ll him but he was all right! After that when he want back they k:ll him! I never go back there again! Please don't go there!

I went to the emergency room after being sent there from Urgent Care. The woman at the check-in window at Passavant’s ER I was extremely kind and considerate of my situation. She saw that there was a note from urgent care that I was being sent over to them and she got me checked in and I was immediately taken back to be seen with no wait time. The nurses who checked my vitals and talking about my room were also kind and helpful regardless of how busy they were. The person who checked me out in my room and took care of my situation was named Erin. I can’t recall if she’s a nurse practitioner or what her title was, however, she was the nicest person I have ever come into contact with at any hospital. I couldn’t be more grateful for how she treated me . I know she was busy based on how many people were in the waiting room when I got there, but she gave me her undivided attention and time even though my situation was quite minor. She never wants made me feel like I was taking up too much of her time. She even looked over studies to give me an idea of how long it would be that I would be dealing with the immobility in my hand . I was in and out of the emergency room very quickly, and she wrapped my arm up for me and sent me on my way with peace of mind. I thank Erin very much for her time and kindness. 🙂
