Very thorough and informative providers!
Went in for a very urgent eye issue, was told don’t go to the ER we see you based on urgency, was not the case, waiting an hr as vision dissipated!
Was there for 3 hours & never saw a doctor. I left. In reply to UPMC's response below, I completed/submitted the form. I'm not paying for the visit, as I received no service, and should actually charge UPMC for my time. I was in pain and it was made worse by this visit.
After seeing them and they couldn’t do much they recommended I go next door. Okay, fine. Next door Melissa Heary just did the same exact thing that urgent eye care preformed. What a waste of time and money. These doctors will do anything to lie and get more money out of you. So annoying.
They had the equipment to get sawdust out of my eye. Another urgent care did not have the same equipment and missed the sawdust. They saw me quickly, and did a great job.
Horrible! I have been waiting for over two hours. Receptionist left, and I was just left in a room waiting. There is not even someone to ask how long. If I wasn't in so much discomfort I would leave, but my doctor told me to cone here because it could be serious. Very unprofessional!
There is nothing urgent about this place it's a regular eye doctor.
I am writing this response here because their Chautauqua branch hides and does not allow reviews because of the awful treatment they give. UPMC abusing their patients as is but even worse is abusing someone who just made an attempt on their life. Not only did they abuse her while so fragile, but they lied to her and her family every step of the way. I spent two days in a lock box with her helping to better her mental health. We were talking about her crisis plan and getting her scheduled with a team for when she would be released. They decided to transfer this scared and traumatized lady two hours away from her family even after the entire family said she cannot go or it WILL tank her mental health again. As her family was the ones actually taking care of her. We took her to the hospital thinking they would help her. They did not care the trauma they were creating and I just watched them wheel her away like a prisoner. All because they didn’t want her sitting in her room until a provider could be with her. If you want emergency mental health help, UPMC is NOT the place. You’re mental health doesn’t actually matter to them.
From day 1 UPMC has been nothing but evil cut-throat money-mongers. It’s almost as if they TRY to hire the most inept apathetic drs and staff. It takes about 45 mi. to an hour to get in contact with the front desk and I’ve never even been able to speak to a dr aka zombies with degrees. One of my current TWO drs just got me kicked off my insurance!! Down with UPMC!! If you think these people care one iota about you then you are deader than wrong—in fact, if you’re a patient of UPMC you likely are already dead!! If you’re thinking of switching to UPMC please please please do yourself a life saving favor and STAY AWAY!
An $1100 bill after insurance, just to be seen for 30 seconds by a curt doctor and be misdiagnosed. No. Every experience here has been awful, take yourselves to Hershey and see a real professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
