Upmc Urgent Care Pleasant Hills's Online Review Report Card

Stopped there yesterday. To have someone look at my knee. VERY ignorant and rude lady and male coworker at the check-in. Made me just stand there for 5 minutes. I WAS THE ONLY ONE THERE. waiting room empty. Place should be closed down. The date was 8/3/2023 around 2:00pm

I love this office. They treat me better than my own PCP. Way better than MedExpress for urgent care!!

This was the absolute worst visit I have ever had here, and I will not be going be going back. For starters, the receptionist had a bit of an attitude when I walked in while I was gathering my license and insurance, it wasn’t what she said, it was how she said it, “ummmm…. Can I help you”? I proceeded to tell her what I was there for, and said she couldn’t hear me so I repeated it louder, and then told me she still couldn’t hear me. I’m pretty sure everyone in the waiting room knew what I was there for because of how loud I was. I found it peculiar how the sign on the window said no harassing language or intimidation but you could hear her swearing in the background. Next, I was saw by the intake person who asked why I wasn’t going to my regular doctor. After explaining how I couldn’t get a same day appointment, she proceeded to have an inconvenienced attitude. Finally I was saw by the on call nurse practitioner, and when I tell you how unprofessional she was it was an understatement. I came in for symptoms with a UTI and was asked the normal questions regarding UTI symptoms along with STI questions. She proceeded to say how “herpes is the gift that keeps on giving”, how I should’ve had this talk in highschool, and how I should’ve known my urine couldn’t be tested because I had been taking a certain medication for pain. I was there for a UTI mind you, but regardless I have never been treated so poorly and judged by medical staff. This was extremely unprofessional, rude, and unsympathetic to say the least. I will never be returning to this location, and I rather wait at the neighboring med express for an hour then go here. 0 stars would’ve been an accurate description of this establishment.

Absolutely useless. They don't even do a full exam before saying this or that and not actually doing anything. I came in to get checked for bronchitis and the NP didn't even check my breathing until I said something to her. And even then her aggressiveness was unbearable. After saying how much pain I was in because I have fibromyalgia, she still decided to press on my collar bone & chest extremely hard. I eventually just walked out. This isn't the first or even second time that I've gone there and had horrible care. But it's the last time.

The guy at the front desk was polite and so was Corey the nurse. Unfortunately Dr. Ford was rude and gave me the feeling that she didn't believe the symptoms I was having. She had zero bedside manner. I went to urgent care at the advice of my doctor and a specialist since I wasn't able to have an in office appointment with them. I'm in complete regret that I even went.

I came here yesterday. I was coughing, felt as if I couldn't breathe and was very fatigued. There were some people ahead of me. I was seen in a timely manner, and thoroughly examined. Tests showed I have pneumonia. Mr. Klotzbaugh had my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy and I was on my way in less than an hour. Everyone was professional and seemed genuinely concerned about patient care.

This place does not have viable medical personnel on staff. They are not qualified to treat any problems that you may have. Worst place I’ve ever been to.

We had the best experience with our nurse Corey. He was so kind hearted and amazing with the IV and just an over all great person to talk to. The physician was phenomenal too, I can’t remember her name. I was dehydrated, dizzy, fever and strep. They took great care of me, I will definitely be back. Faith Y

Sat on the phone for 45 minutes, giving them the benefit of doubt. Told to hold within 10 minutes and then they actually hung up on me so I never got to ask my question. It’s a sad display of our new healthcare I guess🤔
