Caron's Online Review Report Card

I worked with Caron in helping a family member seek treatment. Ive never dealt with people who genuinely care so much about the well being of their patients. The councilors were always accessible knowledgeable and understanding even at odd times or weekends. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. After dealing with multiple rehab centers over the years I highly recommend Caron for anyone who would like the help in getting their life back. They went above and beyond for my family in every aspect and I could not be more grateful.

I cant believe Caron has no reviews here. That doesnt make sense. What a great treatment center. Im saving a little money each month so that when my kids are about 27 I can send them here if they have a substance use disorder...Im only half joking. I would definitely send my kids here it is my worst fear that my son or daughter would struggle with the same genetic predisposition towards addiction that I struggled with and only half joking about having to save money in order to afford treatment at Caron. That said in the right circumstance after all attempts at outpatient therapy have failed first I would definitely consider Caron. Inpatient treatment is only a start for addiction recovery and outpatient therapy should obviously follow inpatient and be tried first in most situations before inpatient. Caron is a traditional 12step facilitation treatment center like about 85% of facilities in the United States so if youre not a fan of AA then this is not the place for you. There are a number of excellent non 12step facilitation oriented treatment centers like The Center for Motivation and Change so just ask an addiction psychologist to help you determine which treatment center is best for you. Caron has improved over the years in its openmindedness to alternative treatment approaches and now offers more holistic approaches such as Mindfulness Based approaches and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT and DBTlike approaches since there are greater number of psychologists running the show and a good indicator of their awareness and dedication to mental health and not just addiction counseling is actually having a psychiatrist as medical director which is far better than just a physician as medical director. The cost is high so if your insurance really doesnt pay in network do be careful about checking the particulars about out of network costs which can be prohibitive. At one thousand dollars a day passing the basket at Alcoholics Anonymous and putting your one dollar in it each day can be a pretty compelling alternative. Im a mother. My son stayed at Caron Treatment center for a month an a half. I had to pay 25000.00 of my retired savings. I lost my job the same week and got surgery the same week. My son is a Doctor however at this moment he is a resident and if you have been one will understand that is basically no money. I will not leave my son alone my husband and I will give our lives to save him.I think he is done however they did recommend another facility in Philadelphia to give him the final touches. First we where told that it was done. Inside of me I think is only a reason to take more money that we dont have. I know he is ready to go back to his life but they come out now with this situation. We can do nothing is the only way to get out of this.Now does anybody will cured me of my stress and desperation? I lost my job the same week he was admitted to Caron they didnt say anything about more treatment the last time I was at their facility I was told that he was ready to star but the day he was leaving they decided to required more treatment more a place that the administrator was previously treated at Caron Very suspicious. I hope GOD is seeing this and help us.Besides that I live in Miami had to fly 2 times rent his apartment loose deposit from the apartment and pay $1350.00 until his apartment is rented again. Pleeeease ....
