This was my first time coming to this practice. The front desk was not very nice. I needed to register and get my insurance card out. All she could say was put your mask on, and did I mention she didn't have her mask on until I walked up. Then I went into the office and the assistant was very short. The Dr flew in, asked why I was there didn't look at anything else. The bedside manner was average at best. I personally would never go back. Just a very unwelcoming place of business.
I have been seeing Dr. Wolfe for the last several years for my annual skin cancer screening. Every time I have shown up, the staff has been courteous, knowledgeable and professional in dealing with me. The doctors there inspire confidence in their assessments and in the few minor procedures I’ve had, they have done a very good job.
Dr. Wolfe has been an amazing dermatologist for my family for years now. Extremely knowledgeable and always friendly, I could not recommend more for anyone in the area or looking to change derms. Wouldn't imagine going anywhere else!
Dr. Wolfe is my family's favorite Dermatologist in the Philadelphia area. We especially appreciate his caring personality, attention to detail, and ability to utilize his depth of knowledge in the dermo space.
Dr. Wolfe has been my dermo for over a decade. Very professional, proactive, great connection to his patients. Would recommend!
I'm bewildered by the bad reviews, and wondering if we went to the same office. I found it easy to get an appointment with Dr. McGuinn, who was great, and she took care of my issue quickly and professionally. The staff was uniformly polite and pleasant. I scheduled a return visit for another treatment, and when I came back in a couple weeks, again the staff was great, and I was ushered in quickly for a laser procedure, after about 25 minutes of prep. Doctor McGuinn and her technician again took great care of me and I was out the door in under another half hour. My only complaint is that after about a month, I'm not thrilled with the effectiveness and results of the Moxi laser and I'll be following up with the Doc.
Doctor Saedi is the best. Period. Clean. Comfortable. Knowledgeable. Kind. Compassionate. Go here for any needs. Hands down the best!
We have been seen by many dermatologists, and Dr. Perilstein of Dermatology Associates of Plymouth Meeting is the worst. She didn't express any interest in her patient at all. Quick in and out of the appointment which was fine, because she was miserable when she first walked in. Many other doctors at this practice are wonderful, just not this one.
Should have read the reviews before I looked to this office for a new dermatologist. Every employee I interacted with was short and rude. I was a new patient and my fiancé called to make an appointment but couldn't get through so thought coming with me and making an appointment in person would be easy. Not only would they not let my fiancé make an appointment in person, they said to call and they would call back???, but they went on to say my fiancé could not sit in the waiting area and only I was allowed to sit there. The appointment lasted all of 2 minutes and the nurse told me I could finish filling out the paperwork and could leave when I was done....only to come back in a minute later and say they need this room so if I could leave and fill it out in the front. No interest in patient care. Oh also if you want to have a mole checked and also have a question about skin ie. acne you need TWO separate appointments
I've been a patient here for 5 years. They refused to refill my skin cancer medication because the doctor I usually deal with was on vacation this month. When asked what I should do for my prescription until the doctor returned, they said to go to an urgent care facility or emergency room. So now I have to decide whether to pay out 250$ to go to urgent care or risk going without my medications for a week. This is a horrible way to treat patients, but I hope my doctor at least has a good vacation.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
