My experience with this amazing Dr. I've been with him from the start. Drs like him don't exist. He's kind cares about you as a person. Lucky be to have had him in my life.

I am a retired nurse, a patient with several chronic diseases and am 78 years old. Dr. Atkins is ONE OF the BEST Doctors I have ever seen!!! He CARES about his patients and treats me with a memory of my problems and my individual needs. HE LISTENS! Wonderful Doctor who I can always count on to help and give guidance.

Dr. Atkins did not care if I lived or died. I have an extensive medical history with severe medical conditions. I was an established patient called with severe diarrhea (20 hours per day), office staff didycsre, gave me appt. 10 days out with a PA. PA wanted to order an abdominal scan, dr refused. After lab lost my specimen, I was diagnosed with a severe problem, C-Diff. I failed all anti-biotic treatment, dr still refused to order scan. Ended up in ER- Dr Atkins sent me home even with a low blood count and abnormal CT. 2 weeks later still not well, I took my scans to Jeff University where I was diagnosed with even more severe medical diagnosis's.Conclusion- Office staff could care less about patients, horrible phone and in office patient interaction (one call, I was hung up on). Dr Atkins does not listen to his patients concerns nor does he care. So very sad that our medical system and doctors have changed so much.Bottom line, listen to your body, not your doctor and follow what you think is right.If your doctor thinks he or she is God, then LEAVE, you are in the wrong place.

He is compassionate and caring. He goes the extra mile for my his patients..I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor. He takes time with his patients. He listens and responds. You never feel like he is rushing you out. In my opinion he is the best!!

Dr Atkins is especially thoughtful and well prepared. On my recent visit, he had obviously done preparation on my case before I met with him. He took all the time we needed. I am deeply confident I am in great hands and exceptional care.

Great experience, if any colonoscopy could be a great experience. More specifically I had intervention by the dock that was successful. He was on top of everything and personally called to give me results. Because of my situation I've had to return more often, family history. Every time has been positive supportive and personal touch.
