I have been a patient for over 20 years with Dr.Swain. He has now been on medical leave for over 7 months. His wife was taking over for him. When I needed a script refilled she refused. I have been taking this medication for 20 years. This is wrong. All I ever heard about was his problems and his son, who is deceased, I am in shock at how a Doctor could do this to someone.

I have been going to Dr. Swain for well over 10 years. He is always very caring and always shows concerned about me. I feel very comfortable talking to him about anything. I have never had any issues with the staff. They are always very pleasant and my me feel very like they are there because they care. As long as he is practicing I will be his patient.

I was referred to this doctor by a friend who is a nurse that has worked along side of the doctor a time or two, nothing but great things to say about him ans also Dr. Lazur...I called today to become a new patient...unfortunately, I will not be pursuing this doctors care any further, do to the lack of professionalism and concern that I experienced from the person answering the phone at this office..."Hello, I would like to inquire about become a new patient to Dr. Swain"...the voice on the other end left out a big sigh and said "Well, I'll take your info if you want and put it in the book?"...I asked her to explain what that meant..another sigh followed by "Your info is put in a book and the doctor reviews it"...I replied with "Well, how long does it usually take to hear back to let me know if I will be accepted as a new patient?"...another sign..."I have no idea"...I made one last ditch effort to express my need to see a doctor, by telling her "I'm having some issues that I feel need to be checked out fairly soon, and am just concerned with how long the waiting list is to hear back or get in to see the doctor, otherwise, I may have to inquire elsewhere"...without a single hesitation, she says "Ok then, bye" and hangs up on me! I am so appalled that aside from her lousy customer service, she didn't even ask what my issue was that I felt I needed to be seen...It's really a shame that a doctor who has been recommended to me with such great bedside manner, has someone like this on the front end, leaving people walking away with such an awful taste in their mouths. If you're not happy in your job, leave it...there are plenty of people who would love to have it!
