Woodlands Healing Research Center's Online Review Report Card

After over a year in their care, I still don't have a diagnosis that is current and based on tests of this year! I experienced rather cold staff at the front desk and a very "distant" doctor, who did not code my recent blood test correctly. It took over 4 phone calls to get to the bottom of this issue. I went to the Research Center thinking I would get the care that I need right now and that I would learn how I can handle my thyroid disease. All I heard was that "I should keep doing what I am doing''!!!!. The Physician Assistant, Nancy, was caring and communicative, but she can only do so much. Additionally, I was not told by my doctor that my recent US of my thyroid included a very, very, important recommendation from the radiologist!

I was misdiagnosed with Celiac disease when I was actually suffering from a serious eating disorder. Needless to say, the year of being a strict gluten free diet did NOT help my anorexia. Now, a year later, I am pursuing recovery from my ED and eating all the gluten. Would have saved myself a few months in a treatment center and avoided Woodlands in the first place…

So I’ve been going to Woodlands for over 10 years. The whole staff is amazing! They are truly caring and accommodating. I’ve had some really weird medical issues. And Dr. Kracht has had the patience and knowledge to help me through them. I’ve dealt with Lymes, Bartonella, tinnitus, a bad spider bite, and long COVID, as well as normal illnesses. The folks at Woodlands have helped me through all of it. Dr. Kracht also uses a combination of traditional and natural treatments, which I really like. It’s nice to have alternatives to big pharma. I highly recommend Woodlands!

So sad as this practice came HIGHLY recommended to us from dear friends who have seen Dr. Kroch for years. However, from the very get go, the front desk staff was cold and rude. The only saving grace to this place is their Physician Assistant cannot remember her name but she gave more time in the waiting room than the actual doctor gave in the exam room. As a first time mom, Dr. Catelano was cold and seemed to be in a rush, not open to being understanding with a new mom. He also seemed embarrassed to be near a nursing mom. Had to call the Woodlands office and they finally called back...THREE WEEKS LATER!!! Needless to say, this office will not be on any recommendation list! Concerned clients; Zoë & baby Jack Crispin.

This place is really frustrating. The front desk staff is lazy and grumpy. They don’t answer the phone. We can’t leave a voicemail for our doctor if we have an emergency. We went in for a check up and asked why that is and she said the front desk needs to set one up for her. Also we were charged an additional $150 on our bill because we mentioned that our child had poison ivy a few weeks ago and she looked at it for a few seconds. We were told that that’s why we were charged extra because she had to examine it. They need a new staff and leadership and also customer service training.

We waited 6 months for an appointment, was told they take BCBS they don't because of a QUOTA. WE were turned away with no apology and my husband hasn't been to a doctor in 15 or more years. Back to square one. I wrote a letter about my concerns and NO answer. Email, no answer. I wouldn't take my dog here. Thank you for caring!

After doing 3 interviews, did not even receive a simple “sorry we’ve selected another candidate email.” It’s simple respect & professionalism to respond to a candidate applying & not wasting their time with 3 interviews with the exact same questions

We made an appointment 6 months ago and asked if they accepted insuran ce and was told "Yes" About Woodlands Healing Research Center () See website which also indicates this is the case. After waiting 6 months, traveling 2 hours RT and filling out 25 pages of paperwork and waiting 1/2 an hour in their office (taking a day off work). We were TURNED away saying they are NOT taking insurance for new patients. They admitted their mistake. But we were not given any alternative but to leave without an examination. This is unnacceptable and I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. Totally misleading and uncaring for someone who might potentially be unwell. Thanks for NOTHING except wasting a day off from work and no having to begin a search for a Dr. and wait. They totally misrepresented themselves.

Dr. Kracht is wonderful and genuinely cares about the patient. He ordered supplements that were spot on for my family. He is patient and listens without judgement.
