Been my internal medicine doctor for a decade now, and is the best I've ever had (I'm 66). Knows his stuff, listens, is concerned, and blunt when needed (it's easy to fall prey to supplement marketers). Bonus: Calls me at night when a concerning lab report reaches him. How many doctors do that? His office and staff work well, nice location out of the city (hence, no traffic or parking issues).

Dr. Barrett is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, very thorough and takes his job and responsibilities very seriously. He takes plenty of time with you during his exams, discussing the results/observations and listening to your questions and feedback. You never feel that he's in a rush. If a lab or test comes back with something of concern, he'll call you himself to discuss it rather than having his nurse or office staff call.

Simply the best! Everything you'd want in a Primary Care Physician ... friendly, caring, knowledgeable, thorough ... a pleasure to have an appointment with him. In my experience, he is a rare find, indeed. His "bedside manner" is impeccable, and even if you have a range of issues he's carefully overseeing all of them and getting you to see a specialist at the earliest sign of a problem.

As a medical professional; personal opinion based on care of family mem.: calls are never ret.(even crisis related); never gives stock size samples of expensive meds (ANY samples!) despite Pharm reps having such to give/ do give him; staff is rude, arrogant and overall just as incompetent. Orders unnecessary tests/labs and OV; does not review interconnected EMR labs/notes from other physicians to prevent reordering same test/lab etc. below ans. based on fmly members experiences

Dr Barrett is the most caring physician I have ever met. I am 70 years old and have seen many doctors. Dr Barrett takes time to listen. He actually treat you like family. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a physician that cares and is an excellent doctor.
