Upmc Children's Community Pediatrics's Online Review Report Card

My kids don't mind the Dr bc they are always so nice and help me with anything I may need......

Maybe it is just me, but this place is more willing to send you to a clinic than actually see a child for a sick visit. That would be okay occasionally, but it happens so often that if feels like the clinic is more acquainted with my children than this office is. I'm not sure what magical phrase that you have to use to get a sick appointment, but I haven't quite figured it out. I am so discouraged in any facility associated with UPMC children's anymore. What has happened? Can we talk about the nurse line voice message? It states that if we don't receive a call back today to try again tomorrow. That is very open ended and could possibly result in a vicious cycle of no call backs for days. It just bothers me. There are parents that aare seeking advice in a timely manner. Nervous parents. Parents should feel comfortable and welcomed about their inquiries. Not made to feel like a huge inconvenience and a waste of the providers/nurses time. Thanks.

Since UPMC took over it has gone down hill. We have been there with my children for 15 years. Now I make appointments and I get no reminders and if I miss an appointment they make me schedule months in advance I get charged. I miss the old Drs. Everyone there now is so cold and out so quickly.

My daughter has been going here since she was born and we use to love it. Ever since UPMC has taken over it’s been unpleasant at best to deal with this doctor’s office. We love Rachael but everything else about this place is horrible. We are going to look for a new practice that better serves the needs of the patients.

I called late afternoon for a kid who got sick at school and they took us in right away!! They were all very kind and friendly. Highly recommend both the Rochester and Sewickly offices, both are wonderful.

Brought in my FIVE day old baby for the nurse to stick her hep B needle in after touching the doors and other children and NEVER washed her hands. Disgusting.

It used to be 5 star! I went as a teen and my kids have gone here since birth. Since UPMC has taken over it's gone so downhill. I'm so disappointed

What happened to our pediatrician upmc took over and it has gotten terrible I used to be able to call the office and get a same day sick appointment especially on Saturdays now today I called to have my son seen and was told by some answering service that my message will be held until Monday? When I said I needed a same day sick appointment? And then being told by this woman if it was her child she would take them to the emergency room? I am pretty sure if I felt it was that serious I would have taken my child to the ER not called for a pediatrician guess I am Going to have to start taking my child to med express if I need him seen the same day unbelievable time to look for a new pediatrician which is a shame because my kids love Dr graff :(

Terrible with large families! I scheduled my daughter for an appointment in October. I called later the same day to request a refill for my son's asthma medication and they said he needed a well visit. So I asked them to make it for him and his twin brother. They told me they could schedule their appts for an hour earlier on the same day my daughter's appt was already scheduled for in October. I said that would be great since she had an appt that day and we would already be there. But then they told me they had a 2 child policy and said they would not be able to accommodate all 3 children on the same day even though they had availability. I asked to speak to a manager. I asked them to look at my history there, I have never no showed and I have been with this practice for 10 years, but they would not take any of that into consideration. I am very disappointed and will be searching for a new practice.

We love the staff and our doctor is a blessing! Your never waiting in the waiting room for more then 10 minutes!
