Dr. Barrett did my right side hemicolectomy when cancer was found near my cecum. I am four years cancer free. He and Dr. Lerman saved my life. Have had no issues and am so thankful he was my surgeon.

Dr Barrett performed surgery in me yo remove my gall bladder. I was admitted through the emergency room and had never yet met Dr. Barrett. He was compassionate, caring and just a good guy. Surgery went well and it was necessary for me to return 6 months later for a hernia which developed. Again, he performed surgery. And again, caring, compassionate and a complete recovery. The only thing that bothers me, in today’s mail I received a letter from him telling me he is leaving Riverside Surg

Dr Barret performed an emergency surgery for me back in 2007, at the time I didn't have health insurance and they worked with me on a payment plan., he is one of the best doctors I have encountered.

Our family owes Dr. Barrett such gratitude. He saved our father's life years ago when he was a young surgeon. It was under extreme, emergent conditions on a patient barely alive. His skill, compassion and care are superior. His decency as a human being is what pulled our family through one of the most difficult times in our lives. We have used Dr. Barrett several times under much better circumstances for surgical and scoping procedures. We trust our life to this capable, caring man.

Appointment wait time is ridiculous. Every appointment I have had, I waited over an hour. My last appointment was an hour and 45 minutes wait time. He is very vague and not thorough enough. I'll travel to Scranton or Syracuse if I ever need surgery again.
