List of Harshad Patel's Reviews
If you have someone you really really hate like an ex-spouse or the guy who ran over your dog with his car on purpose, Or someone who sent you to prison for 45 years then THIS IS THE GUY TO SEND THEM TO!!! He will gladly START you on 300 M.G. Elavil or something just as bad! He is known in Greenville PA as: "THE GOOD AND PLENTY DOCTOR!!!" Every time you visit him he will hand you MORE & Different drugs like a person in New York City handing out Trick or treat candy on Halloween. If you have someone you love tell them to AVOID THIS SO CALLED Dr. AT ALL COSTS!!!
Dr patel changed my sons life for the better. He listens to me and asks my son many questions, hows school going, hows summer going, what hes been up to and so on. He listened to my concerns and knows what hes doing. We had to change the dosage a few times to get it where it should and they did great with doing so.
Im leaving 1 star because I cant leave less! This will be the biggest waist of 5 mins. of your life every month! Dr. is rude and uncaring! He will ask you a question then interrupt you to interject something unrelated. he is already writing your script when you walk in and never makes eye contact. He will cut you off and END the appointment right about the 5 min mark! You CAN NOT effectively treat patients like that! They get paid for your visit and that is ALL THAT MATTERS!
Rude, incompetent, crooked, and seems to be inexperienced.
this doctor should have his license and prescription pad taken away I have reported him to the Pennsylvania medical board and a investigator has gotten ahold of me. anyone else having complaints please file with Pennsylvania medical board. he lives off the backs of poisoning children with his prescription writing a mother he is already treating takes her 5 year old child in and tells him he is sad and he writes a prescription for zolt a black box warning drug not ment for children nor tested for children. he then several months later writes another prescription for chlonadine.dr patel I am going to pursue this full tilt. I encourage everyone with complaints about this doctor to report him to the Pennsylvania medical board. parents please educate and research the prescriptions this man is writing for your children. the long term effect on their brains and lives is devastating. psychotrophic drugs are only ment for people to be on several months to get them through there crisis not years like he has done to a 5 year old who is now 8. this child didn't need any meds his home life was reason for sadness but dr patel is soon anxious and more than happy to write prescription. again file file file complaints!
Never takes more then 5 minutes. He prescribed me pills and they made me worse and when i told him he didnt take me off them and told me it was my fault because "i didnt take them right", but I did. He shouldn't be practicing. I refuse to go back to him.
Terrible excuse of a doctor. I have never spent more than five minutes in his office and when I first started going to him, I was on one medication. Now I am on three. He is so quick to write you a prescription and send you out the door. If you miss an appointment they refuse to refill your medications and as someone who is dependent on these medications to function in everyday life, it is devastating and unprofessional. If it was possible to give less than one star, I would.
I had been seeing another doctor for about 7 years prior to seeing Dr. Patel and was stable on the same medication. The first visit with Patel, he put me on an additional medication and upped the one I was already on. I've been seeing him for about 5 years now. Have never spent more than 5 mins in his office. I would switch doctors, but can't because of driving distance. Go elsewhere. Beware
Went to see him one time. He was rude, made no eye contact, didn't introduce himself, asked no questions related to mental well-being and prescribed medication based on who knows. My introduction visit went exactly like that also was 2 minutes. This guy shouldn't be practicing. Find someone half decent.
Anyone giving this doctor poor reviews is obviously drug seeking and didnt get what they want. This is from a pain management physician who has dealt with this my entire practicing life. Read between the lines of these reviews. Seek help for drug addiction.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
