J. Frederick Doucette's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Doucette failed to answer my questions. When i asked about exploring whether I had endometriosis, he told me “sometimes in life we need to learn to deal with pain” and that it was impossible for me to have endometriosis because I was not 25 yet. I went to a different doctor, and they agreed to do diagnostic surgery, where they found I had “lots” of lesions from endometriosis. Dr. Doucette invalidated my very real pain and didn’t believe me at all. If you want to be heard or listened to, do not go to Dr. Doucette.

Dr. Doucette was late to my appointment due to being out to lunch. When my ultrasound came back clear he offered up no possible explanations for my abnormal pain. The conversation lasted less than three minutes. He didn't offer any other suggestions, tests, or things I myself could do to improve the pain. He was very short with me and very cold. He did not seem like he cared about anything more than getting me out the door. He rated my pain lower than described in the report and did not list my swelling. He marked it as a resolved issue even though it very much was not. He also marked my general issues it as discussed when they truly hadn't been. I felt unheard, unbelieved, and generally unimportant. I absolutely do not recommend seeing him, especially if you are in pain or having any problems. I am changing doctors to someone who will hopefully at least be sympathetic and take more than three minutes to help me. There is no reason someone in pain should be rushed out the door.

Terrible. Was very late to my appointment after being out to lunch. Rushed through appointment. Ten minutes late to what he made a three minute appointment. Offered no solutions to my abnormal pain. Was cold and almost angry that I had any questions. Saw that my ultrasound was clear and offered up little to no explanations about my pain. Offered no tests or things I I could do on my own to help it. Marked on report that the problems I had were resolved when they were and as of now, aren't. Marked pain as less than it was. Overall was mean and just plain not helpful. Switching doctors and going to a new one soon that will hopefully at least not act like they're mad at me for wanting answers. If you have any sort of pain or other issues, he is not the doctor for you.

Dr. Doucette is a wonderful physician. He took excellent care of me during my pregnancy. I felt respected, heard, and cared for as a person.

Very helpful. Answered my concerns thoroughly. Was extremely kind and thoughtful. I wish he was the doctor on call for my delivery.

My MNPG favorite doctor, for sure. Makes you feel confortable and has great communication with the parent. Praying he is the doctor on call when I deliver this fall.

I love him! He has a great bedside manor and easy on the eyes. He doesn't rush me and answers all of my questions.

He is the only doctor I will see at MNPG. He is the only one at the practice that understood the risks I had with Lupus and my pregnancy at the time and that was 14+ years ago. He answers all my questions and he is very knowledgeable.

He rushed me through the appointment, almost finishing the whole thing before he had come into the room and sat down. Really hoping I don't get stuck with him for delivery.

He is so good he saw me with both of my kids. Who are now 4and3
