In my mid-20s, I went to Dr. Adams because I was having some mild abdominal pain. He insisted on doing an internal exam even though he wasn't my GYN, and he was super judgey because I was sexually active but not married. He declared I most likely had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, an STD which would make me sterile and prevent any future pregnancies (yes, he said that to me). I was pretty devastated. He prescribed me a really strong script, but after taking only one pill, I decided to stop because it didn't feel right. I found out a few days later I was pregnant, so the pain was likely from implantation. The med could have aborted my second son because of this guy's sl*t shaming judgement.

That star is just because. I've never had a Dr tell me to flush those Vitamins down the commode. And started to talk about Politics and ask me where I was getting my information. That should have never been brought up in any conversation with any Dr. I will never ever talk to him again.
