Linda Kurtz's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kurtz is more focused on self preservation than taking the best care of her patients.

I have read the previous reviews about Dr. Kurtz and it looks to me they are somehow subjective and with comments lacking objectivity, and they do not match my observations (as a biological and biomedical researcher my job strongly depends on observations, perhaps things were different before, but I can just account for the present 2021). Currently my baby's health and development is followed by Dr Kurtz. I saw an experienced and knowledgeable doctor. She gave me proper answers to my questions and her indications (to my knowledge) are meaningful (I am prepared to understand any medical subject). So, there is something missing in the previous reviews, which did not matched my observation.

Dr. Kurtz treated my son for 14 years - she started off very hands on, caring and thorough. She called to check in on my son and came in on Christmas Day to see him and administer antibiotics. BUT She then opened her own practice and things went downhill. I believe she was in over her head. She was the only doctor and very high in demand. The care wasn’t as personalized - she couldn’t remember ANYTHING about my son. I don’t expect her to memorize my child’s history but I did expect her to read his file before our appointment. Then she closed her practice - I got a notice in the mail about 3 weeks before the closure, but heard “rumors” before that. 14 years and all I got was a poorly written form later basically talking about how hard it was for her to stay in business with the economy. It was a HUGE disappointment. Luckily I was able to get my son’s records before she closed her doors for good. I hope wherever she is now she’s back to how she started as a caring and concerned doctor.

This dr should not be a dr at all especially not one for children. She treated my son like an object or just another patient to be seen she left the room 4 times to get items that were needed for the visit and each time left my child screaming to the point he was red in the face and arms she would not let me try to calm him down before she started something else she has no compassion or patience for anything she didnt even give me the parent the time to discuss anything with her and I'm ok with that now because she doesnt need to know anything about my child. I even called in after his appt to put it in his file that my son is to never see her whatsoever ever again

Highly recommend Dr Kurtz. she is very thorough and professsional.

If there was a zero rating I would have put that one on here but I had to choose 1 star. She acts like she knows your child better than you do and is condescending about it. Terrible bedside manner. She treats children like objects. I would be surprised if she has any children. I found a much better pediatrician.

This doctor should not be a children's physician. She doesn't understand children. She thinks she knows your child better than you do in a very arrogant way. I would be surprised if she had children of her own because she treats them like objects. If there was a no star rating that is what I would give her and her staff. Horrible. Found a much better physician.

My kids have been seeing Dr Kurtz since they were born (over 8 years now). We love her as a doctor. The thing that I like most is that I truly trust her thoroughness and opinions. I love that I am always able to get in contact with her. We have been very happy with her as our pediatrician.

I love her. She is the best doctor my kids ever had She is taking care of my son since he was a baby now he is 12 brianna 5 and now charlotte 4 month i wont change her for nothing thank you linda.

Wait time can be a problem for sure. She is very "by the book" and maybe a bit of an alarmist. Some may like this, but I know my children. Being thorough is good, but I don't want to have to come in for every little thing or get ever test done just in case. Her staff since Keisha left is sub par. THey can't do ANYTHING without checking with her. I don't find her bedside manner to be horrible, she's just very to the point. I'd be surprised if she had children of her own, that's what I mean I guess. All in all she's "fine". I don't think your kids will be unsafe there (in fact quite the opposite) but I think there are better places to go and that's why we are going to switch.
