Wonderful surgeon! Informative, patient and caring. Would recommend him to anyone. I had a bad surgery experience and he has made me think better of the medical world again. He takes the time to answer all questions, silly or not. Can’t say enough good about him!

Worst medical care I have ever received. Felt like I was dealing with a dr who had no clue what they were doing. Ended up seeing another specialist to have them fix his errors, borderline malpractice

I had problems stemming from a previous surgery done before I moved to PA. Dr. Davidson has been an absolute godsend to me!! He has done any number of non-surgical procedure to try to avoid additional surgical intrusion. We eventually decided that surgery was necessary - and yes I mean WE!! He has been great through the whole process he explains everything in detail and answers all of your questions. I have no complaints about Dr. Davidson, I can say that if you are dealing with his staff at the Arlington Ave. location in Harrisburg there are a few aspects that can be challenging. Messages don't appear to get relayed as intended, but rather seem to get paraphrased incorrectly and this is frustrating. You do not ever hear directly from the Dr. unless it is after hours and it is the on-call Dr. I don't like this aspect, understand they are busy but staff should try to relay messages appropriately. I have had this problem at least a half dozen times! I really find this unacceptable, but don't know where I would find another dotor of this caliber. If I must make a concession I would rather it be conceding to subpar office staff.

Dr. Davidson first did my gastric bypass in 2005. He was concerned, caring, very receptive to answering a myriad of questions, and gave me and my family a very high degree of comfort and confidence in him and his abilities. Four months later I needed a full hysterectomy and opted for Dr. Davidson to perform the surgery rather than the ob/gyn specialist I had been cared for for a few years. After the problems encountered, I knew I made the right choice. Lastly, ladies, he's quite easy on the eyes and makes for comforting scenery as you prepare to go under!
