Medexpress Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

This place is a joke! My son had to go here to do a drug test for new employment. He lives 45 minutes away from the place. He was turned away two days in a row because they didn’t have enough help. The second day he called ahead to make sure and they told him to come, then sent him away. Third day he calls ahead and they tell him to come and when he gets there the place is so packed there’s nowhere to sit! Very disappointed in how this business is operated. Employers, find somewhere else to send these people. This is ridiculous!

We arrived in a hurry due to a friends injury requiring immediate attention and they were very helpful. We had checked in and given a wait time that wasn’t even needed. All in all if you have an injury of you feel ill and don’t want the scary trip to the hospital, definitely try this urgent care.

Everyone was professional and very caring. I very much liked the doctor who has a practice in York. Happy my tests were negative. Marilyn U.

Receptionists aren’t literate. Came here to get some basic unofficial documentation that a medexpress employee said I could get done when I called yesterday. The office from which I was given the forms said it is more than okay to go to medexpress and see a doctor because any doctor who went to medical school would be able to give a basic rundown especially after doing an X-ray as my condition is severe and that the documentation does not even have to be filled, a basic letter will suffice. Went today and showed the receptionist my documentation and they freaked out at the sight of it despite my several reiterations of what I was told by the office that the forms are from and what the medexpress employee told me yesterday. Bad location, don’t go here if you need the receptionists to understand more than one sentence out of your mouth as their comprehension skills are not even at a first grade level. Called a different location today just to confirm and they said that they didn’t understand why the receptionists acted the way they did and that the receptionists must be new to their job and to come to their location to get the forms done. Try not to show them paperwork until you get all your words out or else their brains shut down

I wish I could give this place a 0. Worst place ever. So slow. Sat in waiting room 45 minutes and then an hour in the room. Ridiculous for a 10 minute physical and cost over $100.

Excellent care, my PA was terrific, understood the issue, took action, explained completely, referred me to an orthopedist practice that got me in the next day. Front desk was great too.

DO NOT GO HERE. My girlfriend with severe scoliosis has been in need of filling out disability forms to get accommodations for school. She called them a day prior to us visiting and asked if they would be able to check her scoliosis and confirm her disability and they said they would be able to and to stop by whenever. She confirmed with the disability office that its fine if she goes to medexpress even if its a doctor she will only see once since they said the just need the document for official purposes as her disability is prominent. Once we got there the lady at the front gave us an attitude and looked at us like we had 6 heads. She claimed there is no way this could be done here despite a medexpress employee AND DISABILITY OFFICE confirming that it can be done here as it the form is just used for general guidelines to figure out accommodations. Whats crazy is that when she got an xray here last time even the doctor said she has prominent scoliosis

The waiting room time was rather long, on what appeared to be a non-busy day. But once back I was seen by the doctor quickly. He listened carefully and followed through with tests and Rx. I got a call early the next day with test results and lots of information from the P.A. who was very helpful and friendly.

The medical professionals are attentive and act quickly to assess and diagnose. Its a pleasure to work with thoughtful and mannerly attendants
