Melanie Chupata Cherry's Online Review Report Card

I have been with Dr. Melanie Cherry since March of 1991 when she delivered my third child. She has been my Gynecology Doctor ever since. She is not always easy to get in to see her for an appointment. She is usually booked out in advance. She do not rush when she is with her patients. My advice if you have an appointment be sure to schedule your next appointment before leaving the office. I highly recommend her.

I just met with Dr. Cherry for the first time which was my pre-op appointment and I was so thrilled to learn she was going to perform my c section. She was very friendly and warm and made me feel comfortable when I asked questions. I definitely am more at ease with my upcoming c-section after meeting her.

I've been seeing the incomparable Dr. Cherry for over three decades, She's radically changed my life not only through her assistance in her speciality, but her in-depth help, referrals and research in other medical areas. Her punctuality is never less than perfect except when she's spent extra (often much extra) time helping a previous patient never rushing me even when I got carried away with complex discussions in every area of concern to me. She is absolutely one of a kind. Her kindness, knowledgeability and compassion are unsurpassed. I dread her retirement but know how much she deserves a break from her devotion to her fortunate patients.

Dr. Cherry is absolutely tops. Besides being knowledgeable, compassionate and medically up to date, she's always ready to inform herself in everything the patient needs provide what the patient needs even if it's not specifically related to Ob-GYN, (That's how doctors always used to be - not compartmentalized.) This allows her to know the whole patient medically and as a person. This allows her to arrive at holistic diagnoses and recommendations, which treat the patient as a complete human being. I remember unhappily the orthopod I saw for a broken ankle. He refused to answer related questions about my spine and other problems with the same leg, saying that would require two extra appts. (With ~2 hr. wait time apiece!) His refusal to inform himself about related aspects of the injury led to an added round of. physical therapy because the therapeutic boot he prescribed aggravated my spinal issues. What's more, failing to take into consideration my "foot drop" on the same side as the fracture, prevented me from carrying out most of the PT exercise! He is the disgraceful opposite of Dr. Cherry. The only extra wait time seeing her may entail, is inevitably because she's giving her previous patient all the attention she requires. I've been seeing her for almost thirty years and. much as I know she needs a break, I dread her retiring!

I have been a patient of Dr Cherry for almost 20 years. She has always been patient and thorough with her visits. She has delivered 2 of my boys and has really listened to my concerns. I know it’s difficult to get in to see her, but that is because she is the best!

I am on my last week of pregnancy and I was just 15 minutes late to my appoinment but she said she will not see me today. However, it seems that she was already 20 minutes behind, means that even if I was on time, she was not able to see me by being 20 minutes behind. Now, I have to wait 2 more days to check my baby which is quite a long time for 39+3 pregnancy.

Dr Cherry was great and super kind. We found her in the reviews and she was just as described. Even though all of them are in a hurry, with her we did not feel as she wanted to get rid of us as quick as possible. We were lucky that she was doctor on call when my wife went on labor!

Excellent doctor

Dr. Cherry is one of the few doctors I can honestly say I trust 100%. She is caring, intelligent and takes the time to explain things to me- in a language I can understand! Dr. Cherry has always been there when I needed her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cherry for approximately 11 years. Love her. She is extremely intelligent and a kind human being . Would recommend her without any hesitation (and I am a picky person when it comes to my health)
