List of Sarah Carroll's Reviews
Appointment with Dr. Carroll 2/1/21 ... have been the worst experience ever ... having my buildup earwax removed and after clenching the arm chair due to extreme pain for approximately 15 minutes ... yes, I know I should have stood up, carefully, and walked out but I was still in shock!!Have had this done before in the past ... but not like this! Beware ....
I don't have enough words to say how thankful I am for all the care Dr Carrol has done for me. She cares about her patients.
Dr. Sara Caroll is a very caring Doctor with magic hands. She performed a ver delicate surgery on my brother. My brother is able to breathe better and sleep more soundly. We are very grateful to her. She treated us with a ton of care and compassion. Thank You
Dr Carroll is a great, caring ENT. Have had ear tubes and adenoid removal with kids from her. Great experience every time. Staff is great with the kids as well.
I saw Dr. Carroll for removal of an enlarged parathyroid gland. The office was clean and spacious and the desk ladies were friendly. My wait time was under 5 minutes. Dr. Carroll was friendly and confident about my condition and she explained what she would be doing (and that she had done this surgery many, many times without any problems). My condition didn't need a long medical explanation; the procedure was simple and my surgery was set to take place in just 2 weeks. I really liked her calm, low-key personality. At the hospital, just before the surgery, she visited me and went over the procedure again. She and her team made me feel very safe and they took the greatest care to make me comfortable. The post-surgery visit went just as well as my first visit and there was no wait time to get in to see her. She described what she found and assured me that the problem would probably never recur. I'm an alarmist, but found nothing in the doctor's demeanor or speech to alarm me at any stage of our dealings, so if you're the nervous type, you're going to like her.
As it happened I saw Dr. Carrol coming out of surgery at Glendale Adventist one day. Sometime later I was trying to find an ENT doctor on my insurance website and checking doctor's reviews online and saw her picture and reviews, then decided to give her a try. She is pleasant to talk to and a good thorough communicator. She told me what the treatment options were and I opted for the in-office sinus procedure (versus surgical option) and was pleased with the results being able to breathe much better within minutes. I referred my wife to her for the same procedure and she was also happy with the results. We had no problems scheduling the appointments and when I paid the cashier she said they could not be sure of the exact charge - but would refund any difference. I was a little skeptical however, later they contacted me and credited my card for the overage. Glendale Adventist does charge for parking, though if that bothers you and you don't mind walking a little bit there are some street parking options however, not as many as there used to be.
I was referred to Dr. Carroll due to a swollen lymph node in my neck area. She removed two nodes under my chin to be tested for lymphoma. Dr. Carroll has a very pleasant, calm, and gentle demeanor. She adjusted her schedule to accommodate my transportation needs for surgery. Surgery was quick, painless and recovered within 6 days. She even called me personally when pathology report came in to inform me the results were negative for lymphoma! Such a relief. I still haven't heard from my Oncologist. Thanks for everything Dr. Carroll.
Saw her last year and forgot how mediocre she is. Made a huge mistake and went to see her again (because i needed to see ETN fast and she had an appointment in 2 days - which is also not a good sign). Seems that she is not very sure what she is looking at: When I observe her - she is like bad actor who's role is a doctor. She spends 5 min with you, because she does not have real doctor energy: she does not tell you much just minimum she needs to. She does not educate you and you can get better idea on google, than going to see her. I would not recommend her.
I was went to Dr. Carroll for hearing loss and a clogged ear. I mentioned to her that a PA looked inside my nose and saw that my ear was clogged. She gave me some meds, but nothing worked. I again told her that my ear is clogged and that it's now starting to hurt. She didn't bother to look at the clog herself. Took a hearing test and was told I needed hearing aides. As of now I am still in discomfort and will be seeing a third doctor.
A good doctor betrayed by poor staff and appointment management. Awful answering service by staff; errors in the online ZocDoc appointment system. Impossible to get a follow-up appointment. Dr. Carroll -- train your staff to ask a patient's name first and to be pleasant -- or no one will ever come back. So offensive.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
