Dr. Lauver is great with all 3 of my kids and my husband and I. He really listens to us.

The staff is like family. The best prescription and exam in 20 years. The dr. is a true asset to his choosen profession, to not only be phenomenal at what he does but to still like people, amazing! Loys is excellent with insurance and ensuring you get the glasses you really, really want at a price you can afford! Can't say enough great things about the efficiency, cleanliness and quality of frames and staff. Love them!

Great doctor and staff !

Thefts, charged my family 400 plus dollars for glasses never received! I told them not to order the glasses because at the time I didn’t have the funds, I repeated several times and the lady said she understood. Three months later I was sent a letter in the mail that the glasses were at the shop and I needed to pay in full. I called and asked why were the glasses made without my permission, they said they decided to order them so they were there when I came back. I said I never requested that nor did I give permission. I told them I didn’t have the funds and did not want them. They put it on my credit and three years later I’m still dealing with this!

I had gone to Dr. Lauver for several years. In March it became apparent that making money held more value than my eyecare and eye health. I went to him in "March" for my two year exam expecting my usual "full complete" eye exam that my insurance pays for and I am accustomed to receiving. I mentioned that my glasses no longer met my visual needs and I struggled to see clearly. Dr. Lauver only tested my long distance vision and sent me on my way to which I stated "Is that it?" His reply was that at my age the bifocal and medium range script does not change. OK I knew I needed glasses so my package came to $500. for a new pair and I trusted his judgement as I had in the past, but I felt slighted with the exam. When the new pair arrived, I couldn't see properly. After Many trips back to his office with tons of excuses on their part that I must get used to the script, and how far are you sitting from the PC and everything else, tons of adjustments and wasted time and needless aggravation for not seeing, I made another appointment to have a proper exam with him that he removed from the schedule stating that at my age I did not need another exam as my midrange and bifocal script does not change and he removed it from the schedule. I then found the previous Dr who worked at his office and received a thorough exam with her. She found glaucoma and ripe cataracts in both eyes. I hassled for a long time (still not seeing right) with my insurance co. I found a very good eye surgeon and yesterday I had laser surgery to address the first of four procedures to retain my vision. My feeling is sometimes when it becomes apparent that the money holds more value than the patient needs; it's time to go elsewhere. I'm glad I did as glaucoma leads to serious vision loss due to pressure on the optic nerve and must be addressed sooner than later. I lost 6 months due to him not giving me a complete exam, and I went through 6 months of straining to see with crap prescription and the last 3 weeks with no glasses at all while they redid the lenses refraction from the second Dr. who actually took the time with me that I needed. That's why we need to see an eye "professional" at least every two years.

HE, is a gutless eye doctor, charged me 800.50 DOLLAR`S FOR ONE PAIR OF GLASSES HAD PROBLEMS FROM DAY ONE. WENT BACK 5 TIMES TO TELL MY ABOUT MY PROBLEMS, HE DOES NOT HAVE THE GUT`S TO EVEN TALK TO ME HE HIDES BEHIND THE OFFICE GIRLS. LENS KEEP FALLING OUT OF THE FRAMES. TOOK ME 2 MONTHS TO EVEN GET THE DAMN GLASSES. 1ST. TIME MARKED THE LENSES WRONG, SECOND TIME WENT BACK FOR THE GLASSES GIRL SAID THEY LOST GLASSES. PROBLEM WITH GLASSES EVER SINCE. We have had a wonderful experience dealing with Dr. Lauver over the past 18 months. I can't say enough good things. If you are looking for a developmental optometrist for your kids, this is the place to go. Having someone who can link neurology and optometry made all of the difference for our kids.
