I would give 100 stars, if I could.....This office is amazing...Dr Koehler helped me with an insurance issue that they denied...she called and explained the situation and they covered it. Thanks to everyone at this office...they are all amazing.

Dr. Koehler has been our family dentist for years. She is always professional, patient and caring towards all of us.

I'm sure that most people can agree that finding a great dentist is the equivalent to finding a unicorn. Well Dr Melanie Kohler is that unicorn. I am very hesitant to go to the dentist because of all of the horrible experiences I've been through over the years. Put it this way, every tooth in my mouth either has a filling a root canal or a crown. Many of which have been retreated more than once. I have no hesitation when it comes time for my appointments with Dr Kohler. She goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I've never felt any pain during or after any of my appointments. I changed insurance a few years back and had to go to a different dentist who botched a few more root canals and crowns. I finally gave in and called her and setup an appointment even though she wasn't in network and I'm so glad I did. I definitely don't mind paying more out of pocket to get the best dental treatment money can buy. She even offered to help me get my money back from the other dentist. Such a sweetheart. She truly cares about her patients! I can't wait for my next appointment! Thank you Dr. Kohler! if I could give 100 stars I would!

I took my child to her multiple times because she had an ear infection. Dr. Koehler would say she's fine, then less than a week later she gets worse, so we go back and get a different doctor. They tell us she has an inner ear infection, this has happened an innumerable amount of times. She's also very rude in a "fake nice" kind of way. Recently my daughter has had vertigo (she still does for 6 days now) and Dr. Koehler said its from allergies, but then when I get home I found out from multiple sites that only 13% of vertigo patients have it from allergies. My daughter is telling me she also has ear pain. Based on that and from the symptoms I found on multiple sites, I need her to go back this time with a different doctor. I would not recommend this doctor at all. One of the worst doctors at Reading Pediatrics. I think, she just doesn't want to do her job.

I've been going to Dr Koehler for years. I have always loved her. She's great with my anxiety, and horrible teeth. My old hygienist was a rockstar. However this past time I went in things were very different. I had a temp hygienist do my cleaning as the regular one called in sick. That's fine. But he couldn't recommend a dental floss or tooth brush that would be good for my mouth. I hadn't been in, in over a year. No photos taken. No checking my gums (where they call out the numbers). Dr Koehler came in for less than 2 mins. Literally looked in my mouth. No poking, prodding, digging with her instruments. Nothing. Very odd. It seemed like she was in a rush to get out. Also... no goodie bag. This was so beyond different from every visit I've had prior. I left feeling uneasy about my teeth (I'm cavity prone) and worried that next time I'm going to be hit with a ton of things. Not sure I'll be going back.

By far, rudest pediatrician I have ever met. Terrible bedside manor - speaking over me, not listening as I spoke, spent an entire 3 minutes with my child. I am mortified that Reading Peds has such rude people working for their practice.

Dr. Koehler and her staff are exceptional. They take away the anxiety of going to the dentist making it as pleasant as it can be with their warm and cheerful approach to treating patients. The office is warm, inviting and spotless. Their selection of reading material is satisfactory, waiting room seating is comfortable and parking is usually easy, however, Dr. Koehler and everyone who works there are a step above any other dental practice I've every visited. I would highly recommend Dr. Koehler to friends, family and business associates.

I was clearly upset and she was very rude.

For awhile it was ok. Billing department leaves something to be desired. I went to Dr Koehler for years until I ended up going elsewhere and the dentist pointed out the less than three year old fillings that were filled with tooth decay and found that she basically ruined my teeth. It's highly disturbing and disappointing that someone you trust with something as important as your teeth would do this type of hack job.

She is the BEST! She never recommends what is not needed.
