List of Recaredo T. Berbano's Reviews
My records were transferred by another doctor, to this office, without my knowledge. They do not send records when requested, then blame the patient for not giving them the information for the transfer. Who signs off in person and does not give the info for the transfer? And why would the office staff let you sign off without it? They will not send my records to my new physician, and now say that I need to come into the office and pay for them. I am working on reporting this office to whomever needed, to stop these practices.
Dr Berbano has been the only one who listens to my symptoms and helps me feel better. For years I was unnecessarily over medicated and he was able to get me off the medication and take a different health approach.
Ridiculous!!! Apparently you have to do the work for the NP and the staff. When you question them they get an attitude with the patient! The entire staff needs to be replaced! 1st time there and it will be my last visit there! Lisa needs to remember that if it weren’t for the patients going there she wouldn’t have a job!! Time to get rid of your rude staff members Dr.Berbano. Maybe then your clientele with increase!!
Absolutely disappointed every time I go there. Hardly ever see Berbano. They consistently screw up my prescriptions. The PA ia very good but the other assistant is completely miserable to deal with. Changing doctors TODAY.
They leave the answering service on for 2 hours and you can't reach them.
Unprofessional and uncaring from the time of scheduling the appointment to the follow up. Made appointment with doctor, for very first time, after old doctor left the area. Waited 4 weeks for the appointment with the doctor (could have been seen sooner if I made appointment with CRNP or PA). At arrival, I'm told that I am scheduled with the CRNP, not the doctor. Was told the doctor himself made that change/switch. I immediately felt that this was unprofessional, especially as a new patient. Visit was not very thorough at all, and quite quick for a first visit with a patient with several medical issues going on. Was then prescribed a diabetic medication with potential for fatal pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. That was never discussed, other than me being asked if I ever had pancreatitis. Called back the next day, to discuss this issue, request a different medication, or get back on the previous medication. CRNP herself would not even call me back, had a nurse call me to tell me to try diet and exercise, and come back in 3 months. Refused my request to try a different diabetic medication, and refused request to got back on previous medication. I believe there are many diabetic medications that can be tried, not just those two. The nurse said I could discuss that with her at my next visit in 3 months, or I could make another visit now to discuss this. Didn't even care. Maybe I got spoiled by my old doctor who actually cared, and listened to me and my requests, since it is my body after all. That was it for me. I see and have seen many doctors for different ailments, and I have never written a negative review on any of them, even if I had a less than optimal visit, nor I have encountered such unprofessionalism and uncaring nature from a medical facility. From the appointment scheduling, to the appointment itself, and to the follow up. I have seen uncaring doctors and caring doctors in the past. This one and his staff seems completely uncaring about the patient as an individual. Beware.

Dr. Berbano has definitely saved my life! When, after many endocrine issues and numerous other life stressors had destroyed me and my life -- HE LISTENED when no one else did and put me back on the road to health and recovery! He wouldn't let me give up. He is a clinically talented doctor who is professional, compassionate, and dedicated as well.
After 9 years of going to this doctor he dropped my insurance. I didn't find out until I showed up at the appointment. Furthermore, I couldn't get any of my medications refilled and the staff was unkind when questioned. I should have received some type of notification and I think what was done is very unethical.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
