Dr. Cohen is wonderful. He explained my surgery in detail, answered all my questions, and followed up with me after my surgery. He even brought me icecream to see how I could swallow after my heital hernia repair. Would recommend him highly.

Very professional,kind,smart,quick thinking would highly recommend if needing help. Megan his assistant is one of a kind too. They will both take great care.

Dr Cohen has excellent credentials, he really seems to care about his patients. I feel privileged to be his patient and would highly recommend him. Good office staff also!

He is excellent in every way .. providing a calm and supportive bedside manner and always explaining what the next steps of treatment will be as well as superior follow up ... I refer many of my friends and family to Dr Cohen ... ... Best in the city !!!

I don't doubt anyone's negative experience with Dr. Cohen, but mine, over the course of several years, has been largely positive. Yes, his bedside manner is a bit harsh in a "mad genius" kind of way, like he is above our pettiness. I personally can look beyond that if he can do what I need him to do. I got very sick and was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2013. He immediately started me on the proper path to Remicade treatments and I've been in remission since. He has always made the right call for me, has always been punctual and has always answered my questions. During my first colonoscopy, he found and removed several pre-cancer polyps that would've become tumors. But hey, that's all doctor stuff. He was just doing his job there. But then there was this. In 2016, I went to the ER for something and they found I had a spot on my lung and warned me of cancer. After the tests, I was completely on edge, waiting on word from my PCP if I was going to die and he wasn't calling or returning my messages. Dr. Cohen, who had nothing to do with this issue, called to tell me that I didn't have cancer, because he happened to be looking in my chart to review my treatment and found the results (He and my PCP are in the same network). This busy, highly in-demand GI, took 2 minutes to call me and relieve my anxiety when he clearly didn't have to. Like I said, I don't doubt your experience if you wrote a bad review of Dr. Cohen, but there are always many sides to people and situations.

Save yourself future trouble & find a different surgeon now. Dr.Cohen performed my father's surgery back in Aug 2011. His bedside manner was great. He seemed to know what he was talking about & what he was doing. We thought after dad recovered that he was doing better, but that did not last long at all. Skip forward to 2018 & my dad is in Centennial at 96lbs (he's only 56) awaiting surgery to fix what Dr.Cohen messed up & did wrong in 2011. My dad has hurt for years b/c of this "doctor."

Dr. Cohen left my sister in horrible pain after clipping a nerve. Dr. Cohen and his staff ignored her when she told them she was in horrible pain. She told them she had a very high pain tolerance (she was a high level athlete) but ignored her until she collapsed due to the pain and went to the ER where they performed emergency surgery without anesthesia because they could not wait for the anesthesiologist. Unbelievable.

a month ago Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cohen. Brilliant doctor, very smart & thorough. Highly recommend
