Dr. Carter and team are excellent! They are detailed oriented, caring, professional and thorough. Dr. Carter, Cheryl, and Sherry have taken great care of my mouth since I came to them in tears with tooth issues, and I can now say I am pain free thanks to their great work and recommendations! Jen is also always very helpful and positive! They are flexible with scheduling and always try to get you in to see them when needed. I highly recommend this dental office!
My family has been going to Dr. Carter for years. We have found all of them to be quite friendly but professional. They have taken care of all our dental needs and work really well with handling our insurance. Yes! Would recommend them.
I first met Dr. Carter when he was practicing in Allentown. As a resident of Coplay I was very disappointed when he opened his practice in Topton. A 45 minute drive is a long way to go for a dental appointment! The truth is Dr. Carter and his staff are so friendly and accommodating as well as up to date on the latest techniques so I had to follow him when he moved. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Carter, Cheryl, Sherry, and Jenn. A visit to their office is like seeing family for me. They are family oriented and ALWAYS make time to take care of my dental needs whenever I need them. I am a Carter patient for life!!
I don’t recommend them. Because they didn’t explain to me about the insurance coverage. And after I got fixed they sent me a bill a lot!!!! They should explain about my insurance doesn’t be belong with thire I association. I paid around 75% of whole cost.
After starting with a new dentist that takes my insurance I was told I had a badly chipped tooth that Dr. Carter never fixed, I also had $6000.00 worth of periodontal disease Dr. Carter never told me about. I had been going to Dr. Carter for over 5 years and nothing was ever said. My advice get a second opinion or a better dentist!!!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
