The surgeon and medical staff are great. First class treatment. But the office staff is horrible. Very rude and very unprofessional. You’re only as good as your staff. I’d recommend the surgeons any day, just wish they were at a different facility.

Edgewood Surgical Hospital is a physician owned Surgical Center that also has overnight facilities for patients that need a short hospital stay post-op.I was there for a day procedure with my terrific MD; Dr. Wrightson. The staff were the nicest people. This unit embarrasses UPMC Jameson and they now take UPMC insurance. The surgical nurses in the OR were fantastic. The nurse that took care of me post-OP was a star. She walked me all the way to the car. Request this unit if you have to have a procedurePlease ignore the negative review about the collection procedures. It's a private unit. They have no option but to collect up front. These folks know this. They tell you up front and are honest

Lovely Enviroment, Very nice staff, i recovered here after a hip replacement it was very quite and relaxing would highly recommend this for people who like a laid back feeling with really great service and commitment

Is more personalized than hospital but they'll destroy your credit if late on payment. VERY QUICK to report to collections but non-compliant to update once paid. They try to extort money right before procedure when check in or will call day prior to pay bill.
