Does not explain in people’s terms, uses medical terms that the average lay person does not understand. Sits there and types into computer more that anything else. That department is on lower level of Mayo Clinic and is very dismal- needs re- decorating ! Wish there was another endocrinologist to see!

He was incredibly rude and dismissive. He, without warning, put his hands around my throat and aggressively pressed down to feel my thyroid and didn't stop pressing even when I asked him to stop because it hurt so badly. I had finger marks for hours afterward. Told me a bunch of my symptoms didn't matter.

I fired him. He was pompous. Arrogant. He didn't care how I felt. It was a numbers game without any real relief of my symptoms.

Very ill mannered and rude. Doesn't listen to patient needs or wants. Excuses all suggestions and questions from patients.

This physician made our daughter wait for 4 months before seeing her and the day of her appointment the clinic changed registration systems causing long delays in that process which made her 15 minutes late to the appointment despite her being in the clinic on time. Her appointment was for over an hour and yet HE refused to see her. We drove 2 hours to see him and waited 4 months and despite his nurse pleading with him he refused to see our daughter. On a previous occasion he cancelled our appointment 2 days before it was scheduled due to him having visiting physicians from Mayo coming into the office. HE made no attempt to get her in sooner after that and we waited another 4 months for him to in the end refuse to see her. I have no confidence in this physician or his ethics and quality of care. He is also the ONLY endocrinologist Mayo has in Eau Claire and they can not seem to get another one. that is a red Flag to me . This Physician seems to have his own methods and his own criteria and is not interested in patients as much as he is that.

He seemed to have his own agenda as to what I "should" be doing and unwilling to work with me even when I proved to him that his agenda wasn't working well with me. His bedside manner was awful. One of the most unfriendly doctors I have met. I have sense switched to another doctor and am MUCH happier.
