List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
Currently waiting in the room for about 40 mins just to get a physical done. They're really nice but it's taking forever. Never waited more then 15 minutes anywhere else.
Why are physicals for dot screened in the same room as sick patients? Why does a non sick human have to wait close to 2 hours for a 15 minute physical?
don’t come here waited almost 3 hours for a physical and it wasn’t even that busy the wi-fi is also terribly slow
Very thorough and caring. I felt like my concerns mattered.
Love dr Gallagher
A huge thank you to the staff that works here. They are wonderful and worth the wait… they took care of my baby literally everytime I need them with no hesitation. They treat your kids as if they are their own. A huge difference from Uniontown hospital!!! If you need a hospital I’d recommend this urgent care over uniontown hospital any day !!!!! Thank you !!!!
Yesterday I went to Med Express Uniontown for major head congestion, was not feeling well at all.... Signed in, I have Medicare A&B, was told I had to pay a $40.00 copay which I handed her a $100.00 bill..Then was asked for a credit card, I DO NOT OWN A CREDIT CARD !!! I asked for what reason. They replied..It was company policy. I replied I am paying copay CASH and Medicare takes care of the rest....They refused Me treatment...WHAT if an Illegal or a welfare recipient was told that They were going to be refused treatment !!! All Hell would break loose..MED EXPRESS CAN GO POUND SALT !!! Strongly recommend other alternatives.
Minor injury. Didn't have to wait long. X-rayed and fitted with a brace for my finger and was on my way.
So I went to the Uniontown, PA location seeking an x-ray of my foot after a completely freak accident (after I'd tried to seek same at the Washington, PA location only to be told there was no x-ray tech on duty at that location that day!!). I waited roughly two hours to be seen. Got back in to the treatment room and had to wait another half hour-ish for the nurse practitioner to actually get there. When she finally got in and I started to tell her what happened and why I thought there was a broken bone, she was looking at my legs/feet and didn't seem to be actually listening to what I was trying to tell her... She was in the room with me for LITERALLY five minutes before telling me "Oh you have a blood clot, your feet (not just the affected foot) are cold. You'll have to go to the Emergency Room to be checked for that." She didn't seem to notice/care that I'd been sitting in their air conditioned waiting room in sandals for two hours prior to this. She also didn't seem to notice or care about the pretty sizeable bruise on the affected foot, in the exact area I was complaining about. She (NP) pushed on my feet and asked if it hurt anywhere. Of course, when you hyperflex my feet, the tendons/muscles on the backs of my knees hurt a little bit, which is normal for me (she didn't seem to hear me tell her that). She also didn't ask me any of the standard questions that usually come along with the suspicion of a blood clot like do you have shortness of breath or are you having any chest pain? Oh! And the results of my un needed visit to the ER was that I had an abscess on my foot. The ultrasound results clearly indicated that there was NO blood clot. I too, am a medical professional. It's been a minute since I've done patient care, but I am still active in the "behind the scenes" part of medicine, so I am far from ignorant about these kind of things. I feel like this NP treated me like I was stupid and had no clue about what was happening with the body I've lived in for over 50 years. There is NO excuse for this kind of treatment (or lack thereof)!! If I could rate Med Express with negative stars, I absolutely would. Save yourself the aggravation and just go to your local Emergency Department or your primary doctor if it's something that's not life-threatening/can wait. Thanks for reading my review. Y'all stay safe out there.
Just called and asked how long of a wait and was told an hour..then asked about a nebulizer treatment for my wife and was told to go to the er. Guess our money is no good at this location. thanks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
