Seana Covello's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of hers for 15 or more years. She is so good that when she moved her practice from center city to the Main Line, I never gave a thought to not following her. She is thorough, caring and most importantly, I have confidence in her.

Dr. Covello has been my dermatologist for years and I bring my teenage daughters to see her as well. I trust her expertise completely. She is always very thorough and kind and answers any questions that I have.

This was my first (and last!) time visiting Dr. Wildemore's office. I saw Dr. Covello, and based on other reviews, I see I'm not alone in having a negative experience with her. I made the appointment to treat irritated skin under my arms that had started to appear off and on for over a month. Before my appointment I asked if this could be a telemedicine visit using video, but was told no. I also specifically asked how much time to budget to be safe, knowing there could be delays with COVID protocols, etc. I was told by the (very helpful and friendly!) front desk staff that the absolute maximum amount of time I should budget would be 30 minutes. All of which seemed fine, until I actually got there! My appointment was for 11am. By 11:10 I was sitting in the exam room after being checked in. I then proceeded to wait until 11:27 for Dr. Covello to come in. When I said I would need to go right at 11:30 to make another appointment, she didn't apologize for keeping me waiting, or even ack

She and the staff have been outstanding for me. I have not experienced and of the concerns expressed in a few of the other rating I have read. She came highly recommended by my internist. My wife also receives care from Dr. Covello and has received great care.

My appt with Dr Cavello was okay, her treatment was too expensive. Her staff was HORRID. They withheld my lab reports and did not bother to send it to my primary care doc even after repeated requests. They dont answer calls or messages either. I had to come back and give them a piece of my mind. Unbelievable!!

The office visit was fine - check in and staff. However, sadly Dr. Covello has NO business treating people. My feet have been worse since I followed her EXPERT directions on what to do. I have placed NUMEROUS calls to the office to voice my concerns with ZERO help. This doctor is a joke.

I have seen Dr. Covello for the last 8-9 years on at least an annual basis. Dr. Covello is always on time; she performs a thorough intake of how I am doing and what I am concerned about, followed by a complete exam. If actions need to be taken, she is prompt and very thorough of explaining why and discussing next steps. She has referred me as necessary to other professionals and it always goes well. Follow-up by phone is always prompt. I highly recommend Dr. Covello.

A few weeks ago I had an early appointment with Joella and was kept waiting so long I rescheduled with Dr. Covello for 8:45 am this morning. Was happy that I was taken right back and told the doctor would be in shortly. 20 minutes later I am still waiting and no one comes it to even say she is running behind. I go to the front desk and they ask if I am ready to check out (as if I had seen the doctor). I checked out of the practice. They have a policy if you are more than 10 minutes late you might not be seen and I completely agree with that. But early in the morning you can be kept waiting with no indication of what is happening that that's not rude or disrespectful. Clinically Joella and Dr. Covella are great at what they do, but they need to get coordinated if they want to stay in business. There are many other dermatologists out there and I am already booked in another practice. Nice while it lasted.

Dr. Covello and Joelle are the best! Received excellent care! However, after going every month for 8+ months and not being notified of any balance due, all of a sudden I was informed I owe $500. The office manager demanded I pay immediately, and would not let me talk to the doctor about a side effect of my medication until I did so! After she lied repeatedly, she got mad that I contested that I should have to pay immediately without notice, and said that I cannot be a patient there anymore! She was on a power trip, and the whole situation was completely unprofessional! If I had a serious side effect of my medication, I would call Kline & Specter and collect beaucoup bucks for professional negligence/medical malpractice! Then again, maybe I just will, I met Mr. Kline many times at Drexel! Stay away!!!!
