Kudos to Julianne Tobin My appt. with her was more than I expected She is absolutely wonderful. She took the time to listen. So refreshing and just what I needed. Very happy with the results and care plan we have put together. Cant wait to see her again in 3 months Office staff was courteous as well. Very smooth and easy check in and check out. Extremely satisfied
I have been going to this practice over 15 years I would highly recommend them. I find the doctors very thorough I personally see Dr. Elisa Mandel she is fantastic The staff always gets back to me in a timely manner and they are very courteous.
BEWARE Look for a new place to get treated. I was seeing the same doctor for years then suddenly I was always getting told I have to see a physician’s assistant. I can NEVER see my doctor anymore. Ridiculous Never going back. I will go to a doctor who actually values me as a patient.
I am trying to find a new doctor and called this place. They told me I had to see a nursing assistant. Ok but why cant I see who I want? The lady on the phone was rude and told me the doctors are too busy for new patients. So if they are so busy I dont want to be a patient of this place. Seems like they dont care about anyone new just fyi.
I see Brittany when I visit BuxMont Medical. She is awesome. She is very attentive to what you need for care.Recently I had routine bloodwork done she noticed something wrong and insisted I come in immediately. It was discovered my appendix was ready to rupture. She sent to the hospital and it was removed before any rupture occurred. Her attention to her patients is greatly appreciated. She is also a pleasure to speak with.I refer her with high marks.Best RegardsJack S.
Terrible communication. Not competent in booking new clients. I had to book an appointment three months out which was frustrating but I understood because of Covid. Today they called me to cancel that appointment that was for tonight which I waited three months for because they cancelled night hours. They said they werent able to contact me because no one saved my correct number on file even though I gave it to them. They had been looking at a different patients contact info trying to contact me. A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PATIENT Talk about lack of privacy? Waste of time. Frustrating. Office staff was so rude and uncaring. She didnt see the major issue in my contact info never being saved and she didnt see the big deal in her mistakenly using another patients contact info to try to reach me Embarrassing. Please save your time and energy AVOID THIS PLACE.
I love this office Every time I call someone answers the phone immediately. They answer all of my questions in details or call me back within 30 mins or less if need be. Ive never waited long in the waiting room maybe 10 minutes at the most. The nurses are very kind caring and compassionate. They listen very well and care what youre going thru. The doctors are absolutely amazing Ive never waited long in the patient room maybe 10 mins for a doctor. I always see Doc Mandell and she is incredible. She listens takes detailed notes makes numerous suggestions and always follows up.
My mother was a patient of Dr. Wills for many years. I was sorry to hear that she had left the practice. When I called for medicine refills for my mother I was told she needed to follow up with a new doctor Dr. Brennan. I must say I was hesitant because I was so used to Dr. Wills and my mom loved her but we were extremely delighted during the appointment. Dr. Brennan was very thorough and understanding that my mom has a lot of complicated medical problems. She took her time to review my moms history answered all our questions and did not rush us through the exam. We are very pleased and will be coming back to see Dr. Brennan.
Joke of a doctors office. Terrible customer service and have multiple people working in a small office not properly social distancing should be shut down. Will never go back. Do not recommend to anyone.
There are pros and cons to BuxMont Medical Associates.PRO The physicians and nursing staff are probably all very good. I say probably because 99% of my experience here was with one physician Dr. Wills who was FANTASTIC. She was the best primary care physician you could ever find highly knowledgeable caring thorough professional positive cheerful extremely smart and she took time with you and answered all your questions. Unfortunately she is no longer with BuxMont Medical.CON The biggest weakness is the front office staff. Ive had many problems with them over the years. Things ranging from 1 merely semirude behavior when you check in Has your insurance changed? No? Fine take a seat all said with a stone face and then the sliding glass window is slammed shut in your face with a bang to 2 dropping the ball completely. The incident Im about to relate is one such incident. On Wednesday I got a call from my pharmacy telling me that my prescription had been denied by BuxMont Medical. I called BuxMont Wednesday 1 p.m. and the guy I spoke with told me that since Dr. Wills had left the practice I needed to see a current physician to to get a refill. Okay that makes sense but couldnt the office have called and told me that prior to my suddenly not being able to have a routine refill done? Full disclosure the letter announcing Dr. Wills departure may have mentioned that but if it did I did not see it.I set an new appointment with the guy and he told me hed get my prescription refill request over to my new physician immediately. That was 1 p.m. on Wednesday. I got no response from the office or my pharmacy for the rest of Wednesday all of Thursday and most of Friday. Tired of waiting for over two full days around 230 p.m. on Friday I called my pharmacy. Still no refill. So around 235 on Friday I called BuxMont again. I waited over 20 minutes in their phone jail. Since I was at work I finally gave up and left a message. I received no callback from the office for the rest of the day. On Saturday morning nearly 3 full days after my first call I called BuxMont Medical again. According to the person I spoke to my prescription was finally refilled around 520 p.m. on Friday. Great but seriously no one from the office couldve called to tell me that? I was at the pharmacy within a grocery store at that time. This is just one example of many similar experiences Ive had with the front office staff. You leave a message about an appointment referral prescription refill etc. and your message disappears forever into a black hole. So you have to call again and wait 10 minutes first listening to the introductory phone message and then on hold. You leave your message again with the person who answers and hope that its responded to this time. Its a shame that the front office staff creates such a huge wall between the patient and the excellent physicians. I virtually always saw Dr. Wills during my 20 years at BuxMont and she was the greatest. But twice in those 20 years I saw other physicians for semiemergency visits dog bite and infection. Both of those physicians were excellent. The medical staff deserve 5 out of 5 stars. The problem though is that the office staff is inescapably part of your experience with a physician and dealing with BuxMonts office staff is often a big headache. The office staff deserves 1 of 5 stars. So overall 4 of 5 stars.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
