They are CoVid crazy there. A bunch of scientists who don’t believe the science. No thanks.
Congratulations for high healthcare ratings! I’m hoping DH will follow the great example set by Lower Bucks Hospital pledge to help the brave Ukrainians. https://www.lowerbuckshosp.com/news/2022/march/lower-bucks-hospital-announces-its-support-for-u/
Corrupt. Family members were colleges there and overheard doctors saying “they shouldn’t treat the unvaccinated” while most of their patients were vaccinated and had Covid. Just another workplace that’s following the agenda and receiving payouts every COVID+ case they have. Take your loved ones elsewhere.
Horrible! So disorganized! No separate triage for kids! People are waiting unattended for hours before they are seen!!! Triage nurse so so unpleasant!
(They erased this from their reviews on their other page) We had an extremely troubling and gross experience happen yesterday at Doylestown Hospital Emergency Room in Bucks County PA. Clearly certain staff are an issue as someone wrote another review here about the same day. I plan on making a bigger review and making sure those involved are held accountable. They refused medical treatment for my special needs sister because she was also have a behavioral issues she was taken in the morning yesterday by ambulance for extremely high BP and they put her mental status as the reason she was there, then once again at night we had to take her by ambulance for blood pressure and medication interactions that they approved and they put her mental status on her discharge paperwork again and said to take her to another hospital, With BP readings of 148/93 159/110 153/102 and HR of 139 when she usually has low blood pressure and just had a procedure and surgery on the 21st and 22nd last week at another hospital and was having pulse ox and new high BP issues. They actually kicked us out of the hospital and told us to go to a different hospital, threatened us, refused to give us their names, the one security guard literally turned his badge refusing to give his name and Victor his shift supervisor also refused to give it. We dealt with Dr. McHugh, Nicole the nurse and Chris the PA who said Dr. McHugh didn't have a supervisor and I had no recourse to seek other opinions other than to go to another hospital, Jeff a nurse (who gave me a papercut by ripping the discharge papers out of my hand when he saw me writing "we are refusing discharge") ripped the paper and pen our of my hand and was screaming like a child at me that I was "done") also told me we had no recourse, Chad the charge nurse, Victor the security guard and his accomplice that is unnamed because they refused to give it. Same hospital that missed her complete bile duct obstruction earlier in the month refused to see her medically on the 18th didn't even put her in the system from what I was told by the hospital and wouldn't see her and sent her home ended up Taking her to the Jefferson by ambulance same day where she had a complete bile duct obstruction, an extremely inflamed gallbladder bladder and alarmingly large gallstones and required emergency surgery and a 10 day stay at Jefferson so many other things. It was a terrifying and awful experience and unfortunately this is the hospital right by my sisters group home where she is expected to go for emergency care. They used threats and intimidation refused to give us all our paperwork and refused to give us our patient rights. I refused to leave until the gave us our patient rights and just stood under the cameras till I received it. We ended up having go to Jefferson so they could monitor her throughout the night because Doylestown had prescribed her a dangerous medication concoction because they prescribed her klonipin and gave her Ativan when she is currently taking oxycodone for her surgery and they Shouldn't be mixed especially with her pulse ox issues, asthma, chronic sleep apnea, new onset high BP, and insomnia for 5 days. The situation was absolutely awful. We got back there with her at about 11:30pm at 11:59 he said she was being discharged and didn't need medical evaluation. There is so much more, I am angry, I am scared, I am absolutely appalled and I cannot believe the gross neglect from this hospital. Again. Please if you are having issues contact risk Management at the hospital and adult protective services about your issues because until they have consequences for their actions things like this will still keep happening. Doylestown Hospital demand better from your people and hold the accountable.Doylestown Health Care Center Doylestown Health Doylestown Health @DoylestownHealthHospital #doylestownhealth #doylestownhealthhospital
I can’t even write in a review how Amazing Doylestown hospital was to my son ! We were admitted 8/13/21 and had to stay over night two nights . The nurses were both so Amazing ! The day time nurse made sure my son was entertained the entire time with toys and things to do and the night time nurse was so gentle and didn’t even wake him up for his Iv medicine. The Dr. we had was Jason Komasz and he was so caring and truly gave his all . I can’t thank this hospital and the staff enough ! Everton down to the lady that checked us In at the ER to the security officer at the door was very friendly. I can’t say one bad thing about anybody there . I also LOVE how they have a pediatric floor and all private rooms. Thank you all for helping my son ! I give 5 PLUS stars !
Last Thursday night, August 5th, a St. Luke’s ambulance brought me to your hospital because it was my preference. I was having bad adverse reaction to a medicine that I took. Upon entering the ER, the rude triage nurse told them to wheel me into the waiting room. When the EMT questioned her why this was to happen even though I came in on an ambulance, he was told that there were 4 people ahead of me. 🤯. Then, they decided to wheel me into a small dark triage room instead. Not one nurse asked the EMT for stats or information on me until the EMT asked if someone wanted it. 🤯. I was treated horribly at your hospital, like dirt actually. I’d love to speak to the nursing manager about this so, perhaps, you can right your wrong and we can still use your hospital as our preference.
i went to emergency room on a sunday in late september of 2019 with a high heart rate, out of breath and retained fluid. they cardio verted me to try and return the heart rate to normal sinus rythm but never did anything about the fluid retention or possible cause. sent me home and told me to contact my cardiologist for follow up. i did that the next day, describing the symptoms and occurrence the day before to doylestown cardiology where my cardiologist was and they couldn’t give me an appointment for over 2 weeks, no sense of urgency despite symptoms snd knowing i had a-fib. after another week, i felt more wiped and no better so my wife snd daughter drove me to penn presbyterian emergency where i was admitted with a-fib related congestive heart failure . i would up spending days there in early october to get my heart rate down and stable and correct the congestive heart failure, then scheduled an ablation the beginning of december. had i not gone to penn presbyterian and waited for doylestown cardiology i was told i could have died. doylestown hospital was irresponsible in their handling of my symptoms and doylestown cardiology was also irresponsible . i changed my cardiologists from doylestown cardiology to penn cardiologists and since the ablation. have been in consistent sinus rhythm with no issues. very disappointed with doylestown hospital and cardiologists despite them being much closer and supposedly having a good cardio reputation. i do not recommend Doylestown in an emergency or doylestown cardiologists any longer
Trying to force vaccines. Used to be a good hospital. But went downhill fast. 😢😢😢

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
