I had my first appointment with Dr. Galella at 22 weeks and the wait time was over 40 mins. When she came into the room finally it seemed rushed and the vibe was just off. Maybe she was late to lunch as it was after 12. I did not feel my questions were answered fully and being that this is my first baby, I felt a little irriated that the visits with the nurse practitioner was more helpful than with this doctor.

I had a really negative experience with Dr. Galella. I found her bedside manner to be terrible - she was dismissive of me, and the detail that I was trying to share with her about my pregnancy (explaining what's been normal for me throughout my pregnancy thus far) - I had never previously met with her so she had very, very limited background information. She seemed to want to push for an early induction (I'm at 38 weeks at the time of submitting this review and I've had no signs / indications that would highlight the need for an induction), which is not appropriate. I refused her push for an examination (as I was scheduled the subsequent day to meet with my usual OB) and all of my tests came back as "passed." I was simply very uncomfortable with my interaction with her and will not recommend her for pregnancy, nor see her myself again.

Dr. Galella his wonderful. She always takes the time to talk to you and explain what's going on she has been my OBGYN for over 20 years and I can't say enough good things about her.

Dr Gallella has been my doctor for many years. She is professional, kind, empathetic and caring. As an RN who has worked in women’s health for my whole career, I can recommend her wholeheartedly!!! I trust her judgment, and feel she exemplifies the very best of her profession.

I have been going to Dr Galella for at least 26 years and trust her treatment and advise. She is always prepared for my appointment by review notes from our last meeting prior to seeing with me. I have found her to be extremely knowledgeable when I have questions. I have also recommended Dr Galella to others, who tell me they are well please with her. I feel fully comfortable with and trust her.

I have been going to Dr. Galella and this practice for 22 years, since before I became pregnant with my first child. She is thorough, kind and gentle. She takes the time to talk to you and get to know you. The office is fast and efficient and well-run. I highly recommend her and this practice.
