Excellent, compassionate physician!
Dr Sih is very experienced, professional and helpful. He addressed my concern patiently and clearly explained the procedure and options.
REVIEW IS FOR PRACTICE NOT DOCTOR-Practice used to be great but is horrible now. I'm a healthcare worker that deals w/ patients on a daily basis so I'm usually very patient with doctors' offices but I'm switching to another practice right after I give birth. Most of the nurses that answer the nurses line are extremely rude & condescending. Even if you are calling with severe problems(pregnant with infection symptoms, severe pain, post hospitalization urgent follow up) they talk down to you & do not take you seriously. One refused to ask a doctor his opinion when I had bleeding while pregnant so I had to call on call doctor for help after hours. Office staff do not return calls usually for about a week even if you leave several messages. It's almost impossible to get through on the phone. Half of on call doctors are ob/gyns that are working in the hospital & have no access to your records or medical history. Billing is horrible too since Jefferson took over. Many patients are leaving!
He saw me only for two to three minutes at a maximum and did not even offer me a chance to ask him a question. What can I say more...
I felt that he had a good bed side manner, offered good options for menopausal symptoms.
Dr. Sih saw me for a routine prenatal visit in my third trimester when my primary OB was unavailable. He didn't introduce himself, stood by the door the entire time, and then when it was time to measure my belly, didn't explain what he would be doing. I asked some questions about my upcoming medically-necessary induction, and he completely dismissed them, saying one of my questions was "too early to ask", despite me being within a month of delivery.
As a single, later 20 something year old patient, I was hopeful that Dr. Phillip G Sih would give me the same medical attention that I have heard him give other patients in the past. Instead, I felt extremely dismissed regarding my concerns and rushed out of the office with absolutely no answers and a SEA of medical bills to follow for the unnecessary tests he conducted. I had no idea these tests would result in such a headache of phone calls with my insurance company and his office (which is also useless in handling these issues). In the future when I am heavily bleeding from my vagina I will ignore it before visiting this doctor again.
He was extremely rude. He barley walked i the door and spent less than 5 minutes with me. When I asked him a question he looked visibly annoyed, answered with two words and walked out.
I find Dr. Sih to be incredibly professional and thorough. He may appear to be gruff but he is all business and I mean that in the best way possible. He is there to make sure you are healthy, comfortable, and provides straightforward answers about concerns. I had concerns about scheduling a C-section for my second pregnancy and had a previous appointment with another doctor and all I received was indignation and serious attitude while Dr. Sih worked with me to make the best decision.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
