Dr Lima did open heart surgery on my son at UPMC Mercy only to find out that it was his last day at the hospital and the last day Mercy was doing open heart surgeries. We found this out the day after while waiting for Dr. Lima to see my son in the ICU and found out he wasn’t coming. They deceived us. By the way, my son needed open heart surgery AGAIN 4 months later at Presby because Dr. Lima placed a valve in my son that was to small. What was the rush, he was only in the hospital 3 days on antibiotics. Next thing we knew, Dr. Lima told us it had to be done by Friday. He never told us he was leaving. The rush was more $$$ for him.

He did my surgery in 2017. I was to have a quadruple and he only did a triple bypass. Then within 4 to 6 weeks.. 2 failed. I had vein surgery before that and he never played attention when I told him. His associate Noah let someone else look for my veins and she has damaged my legs for life. Since my heart surgery ... I have suffered ever since. I wouldn't let that team touch me ever again !!!

None....i would never recommend him. I went in for a 4 to 5 bypass. He could only do 3. Now, 9 weeks later, i am back in the hospital and had to have 3 stents, because 2 of the 3 bypasses FAILED !!!

My cardiac cath revealed that I was in need of a multi-vessell CABG. 2 days later Dr Lima performed my 5 vessel by pass. I am now 3 mo post op and doing very well.
