I just had nerve decompression surgery ( lumbar spine) completed by Dr. Whiting and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or Doctor! Dr. Whiting is a brilliant man with awesome & caring bed side manner! The feeling in my legs were back almost immediately after surgery! Huge success and amazing Dr and staff! I highly recommend Dr. Whiting and his team! :-)
Dr. Whiting is a brilliant man with caring and awesome bed side manner! He did a great job on my lumbar spine surgery that I just had done this week. My symptoms resolved almost immediately! I’m so blessed to have found him! I highly recommend him & his team!! :-)
Dr Whiting operated on my neck and my sons. He is fantastic. This was 20 yrs ago!
A botched laminectomy resulted in a month-long hospital stay, then two weeks in a nursing home with Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapies. Worse yet is my constant peeing and pooping in my diaper (depends) like an eight-month-old baby. I wanted to bring a malpractice suit but my wife discouraged it. Now it's too late. Bottom line is stay away from this practice at all costs.

The most positive, calming and caring physician. Went beyond what was necessary ...set aside the fact he is brilliant.
Dr Whiting performed back surgery on me several years ago... was in pathetic shape, moto x injuries fall from tree stand ... after his surgery I am pain free and better in 60' s than had been for years. Owe a rebirth without pain to this skilled surgeon ...
My mother had DBS on 8-14-17. She suffered a massive stroke the following day. She is currently in a coma and we have no clue when she will wake up or what her quality of life will be when and if she wakes up. We do know she is paralyzed on her right side and will probably never walk again. Not once has Dr. Whiting reached out to her kids to explain why this happened. She was told there was very small percent this would happen. My mother is not a percentage point, she was a healthy person who had torticollis.
Dr Whiting is one of the best doctors I have ever had the privilege of seeing. Especially for a specialist, he takes the time to put you at ease, explains things, is reassuring and a general pleasure to be around. Plus he has THE best socks ever!! LOL I would highly recommend Dr Whiting to anyone that is in need of a neurosurgeon!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
