I had my hernia removed. Very good surgeon. goos staff and support. Surgery was efficient and Dr. Wilcox knows his craft. This was an out patient procedure that could have been overnight but because of precision. And technique the process worked..

Amazing and friendly staff, great experience. Highly recommended. Take the time to listen and do as they say and it will be a smooth experience for you.

Had him and his practice for my surgery of Gallbladder Removal during beginning of 2021 Quarantine in P.a.. Healed with no problems and minimal scarring on incision sights. Staff is very understanding and very patient in answering any questions pre and post operation.

Went to have a thrombos hemorrhoid dealt with, that was causing major pain, he decided he was only going to "drain" it, not remove it. He made it 10x worse, I'm in significantly more pain now than before, and I still have to have it removed...I will be going elsewhere to have it taken care of. Very very disappointed.

So far a pleasa t experience. The staff has been accommodating in answering questions. My surgery went great. No complications I will say if you have any bowel or intestine surgery. Make sure you’re going to the bathroom. I did get impacted from all the pain meds and that was actually worse than the surgery.

I’m sitting in his office my appointment is at 4pm and I have 2 our family’s that has been waiting for 45 minutes to see the Doctor I front of me and it 4pm now!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬 NO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

Close to a decade ago, I encountered this guy. It was for maybe all of fifteen minutes over the course of a visit to my hospital room, where I was being treated for a pancreatic condition. Keep in mind that I had never seen this guy before in the time (nearly a week) I'd been in hospital. But he waltzed in (he didn't introduce himself, by the way), and when I told him that I was the guy he was looking for, he poked and prodded about my thorax without a thing to say to me. After some note-taking he told me that everything felt fine, and after a cursory look at my diagnostics he said there was a slight leakage of blood showing on my last CT scan. "Probably nothing," he said. "Your body will process that out nicely. You're cleared to go home tomorrow." Yeah! Alright! Except 13 hours after his visit, as the nursing staff prepped me for release, i.e., removing my IVs, and ECG wires and such, the pain in my chest ballooned like no one would believe. So I spent the better part of three hours curled up in a fetal ball screaming for my morphine, before my PCP made his rounds and promptly ordered up an ambulance to take me to the best hospital for GI work in town. When I got to the hospital and made it to triage, I was asked who had released me from the local hospital. I told the doctor that it was Wilcox, and within 45 minutes I had had another CT Scan. And within 15 minutes of THAT, I was being prepped for surgery to fix a splenic artery embolism which had swollen to the size of a softball (hence the pain) and, had it not been taken care of, and had it let loose, I would have bled out within minutes. Stay away from this guy. He's nothing more than a medieval barber.

After having my gastric bypass many years ago I have been ill. I am tired of hospitals and specialists and most of all the nausea and the pain!!! I turned to Dr. Wilcox for help. He was pompous and showed no empathy to my plight. After 5 minutes of his "What do you want me to do" and without looking at all the paperwork that I brought to show him what has been going on...he turned me over to his nurse to "deal" with me. Not one word of encouragement or reassurance!!! This M.D. has lost my respect. I guess if he isn't getting big bucks from a surgery why bother with the rest of us. His nurse, Pat, came in, told me about her support group, told me that she would look over my paperwork and call me before the end of the day. No phone call!! TWO WEEKS LATER I CALLED DR. WILCOX'S OFFICE AND THE RECEPTIONIST REASSURED ME A PHONE CALL THE FOLLOWING DAY. It has been over a week and I am still waiting. If they can't take the time or have the nerve to tell me that they can't help the pain in my abdomen they need to go into another business because they have NO ethics at all!! They are big time losers in another sense of the word. Shame on you people!!! I feel sorry for you when you meet your Maker!!!
