Glen Miske's Online Review Report Card

After having several episodes of SVT which required medical intervention to convert, I contacted Dr. Miske's practice, Regional Cardiac Arrythmia, to determine if he could perform an ablation to potentially eliminate these arrythmias. It took nearly three months to get an appointment with the Dr. and much difficulty dealing with his disjointed office staff operation. My PCP faxed my medical records to his office at least three times and they were unable to be located by his personnel. This was just the start of an epic journey of failure and inability of the staff to communicate with each other or me, the patient. Arrangements were made for me to wear a 7 day monitor prior to my scheduled appointment, which I did. Once I got to my scheduled appointment, Dr. Miske was nowhere to be found and I was seen by a Physicians Assistant who assured me that the procedure was a simple one and could be easily handled by the Dr. The procedure was scheduled for Jan. 10th. Less than a week before the date of the procedure I called to inquire about pre-op instructions. At that time I was informed that due to insurance snafu's the procedure was not able to be performed on the date they scheduled, but rather two weeks later. As the date of the procedure approached I visited Quest Diagnostics to have the prescription for the blood drawn administered. I was informed by the technician at Quest that they were unable to perform the tests because the script did not have a "diagnosis code" which would enable them to bill my insurance for their services. This is T minus 7 days from the procedure. Less than 6 days from the procedure date I attempted to contact Regional Cardiac Arrythmia to correct this problem. As of 12:30 PM the Hospital they assured me they had sent the corrected script to confirmed for me on the phone that they did NOT have the necessary paper work to perform the testing. At this point a became enraged and verbally abused the staff who had assured me just minutes before that they had sent the script to the hospital. Moments later, Dr. Miske's nurse, Gena Brown called me to inform me that Dr. Miske had unilaterally cancelled my procedure and removed me from his practice. Honestly, after my experience with the staff at this practice I had little confidence in Dr. Miske if he believes that this is a proper way for treat patients. Dr. Miske was prepared to operate within my HEART without me once meeting him or speaking to him directly. I'm sure the Dr. had performed any number of these procedures but I, on the other hand, have never had my heart operated on my anyone. My experience with Regional Cardiac Arrhytmia was about as unpleasant as I can imagine and I hope this review will alert others to the complete incompetence and lack of compassion on the staff at this practice.

Dr. Miske was scheduled to place a pacemaker in me. The man is great. Very personable and very caring. I was able to contact him when the office was closed. I left a message over some concerns and he got back to me in a very short time. He is down to earth, takes the time with you and your questions. So nice to have my concerns taken care of with a caring doctor. I will definitely recommend him.

My husband was referred to Dr. Mitske and Dr. Kolibash. by Dr. Noble. He was able to get an appointment very quickly. He saw both Dr. Mitske and Dr. Kolibash. They scheduled him for a series of tests and surgery was scheduled. Surgery was somewhat long, but the provided us with frequent updates. Before, during, & after the doctors were great! Dr. Miske even texted me to check on hubby!

Dr. Miske is a ten on a scale of one to five. We have never met any doctor that was more knowledgable and possessed the outstanding communications skills of Dr. Miske. We would unconditionally recommend Dr. Miske.
