I was referred to Dr. Lowery for surgery on my Achilles tendon/heel spur. I wanted to make sure everything was going to be covered by my insurance before I made the decision to have the surgery because I am on a fixed income. I was surprised that they did not even soak my feet before cutting my toe nails. My big toe nail was growing into the skin, what a bloody mess when done forcing the cutters into it. Pain! Should have numbed it. They said, see u in 6 weeks, I don't think so...His staff was nice, but I'll never return.

His staff didn't give the doctor my paperwork from the ER to start and his entire office acted very unprofessional. The resident did it all, including a procedure on my infected toe and ingrown toenail. The numbness wore off the toe before I left the office. After a very painful ride home, I called for pain medication and was told not for an ingrown toenail. Not even after a painful, bloody procedure removing most of the nail and using a curette to scrape nail and tissue out of the infection

I can't say enough about Dr. Marks. In the three years he has been treating me for diabetic related wounds, he has treated me like family, and has saved both of my feet from amputation on several occasions. He is one of the most professional and knowledgeable doctors that has ever cared for my medical needs. Brilliant is the one word I can use to describe him.
