Dr Metheny is an excellent knee surgeon. He is kind, understanding and and very compationate. He is so good at knee replacements that I hardly know I have one. I can walk, garden and even do zumba. I had my replacement at Jefferson Hospital and I had great care. He is the best!

Have been a patient for 5+ years. Dr. Matheny always listens and offers options to solve my concerns. GREAT surgeon, has fixed a rotator cuff and replaced a knee. Highly recommend!!

My daughter head a buckle fracture at 3 .5 yes old. She was a thumb sucker and got accessing her thumb with the soft cast the ER put on caused her more misery than the arm injury. Dr. Matheny spent 20 minutes shaking and carving the cast so she had full access to her thumb. He didn't have to do that but today, after almost 15 years, that single act of kindness sticks with me.

Everything is arthritis. Tore meniscus didn’t have arthritis issues before. Had scope surgery. Was in pain for months was repeatedly told it was arthritis. Knee finally healed. I have no arthritis issues again.

Dr. Matheny performed gave me a total knee replacement. He did a wonderful job. It has been 4 years since the surgery and I have absolutely no scar. My knee works great. I have full flexibility. If I ever need my other knee replaced, I will definitely call on Dr. Matheny to do the surgery.
