Dr Baratz is one of the best surgeons, He is very caring, kind, gently. He listens to you, I have RA and he has been my Ortho doctor since 2008. His whole staff is awesome as well. Well worth the 45 min drive.

I recently had carpal tunnel surgery after many years of putting the surgery off. I very much appreciated that Dr. Baratz allowed for me to get ‘there’ when I was ready and didn’t push the surgery. Once I got the surgery, he and his team were top notch! Seriously, every single person that I encountered was absolutely amazing, one nurse even held my hand during the entire surgery because I was so nervous. And Dr. B did such an amazing job that it is only a day later and I feel zero pain from the incision site and actually slept the entire night through with zero numbness for the first time in soooo long. I just can’t say enough how appreciative I am of both Dr. Baratz and his team. Thank you!!

Dr. Baratz did a great job on my elbow. He removed an implant in Dec 2020 that had hurt since it was put in by someone else for an olecranon fracture a year earlier, and it had split open. I am in my 60's and it has been months now and I have no pain and can use my arm like I use to , with full range. The scar is hardly visible and looks like a pencil line. I would highly recommend him. I had outpatient surgery and the whole procedure from check in until check out was seamless. He also made it a point to speak to the person who was accompanying me.

Dr. Baratz is very good! I had hand surgery last July and so far all has gone well. I am till healing but much better than before surgery. It will still take a few more months to completely heal but I am glad I had it done and eventually will need to get my other hand repaired due to arthritis and will definitely go back to him. I have had a completely torn ligament for a very long period of time (over 6 months) that Dr. Baratz refused to investigate with MRI or treat w/surgery; I’ve been in a brace. My arm ligament is now also impaired due to the duration of injury. Had surgery from new dr who said ligament was completely torn from bone. Dr. Baratz could not have cared less about my pain or healing. Even commented that I was acting “worked up.” I was imploring him to help me. Do not go here under any circumstances.

My son had a baseball injury and Dr Baratz made room for us the next morning. Diagnosed the thumb injury immediately without sending us all over for MRIs and additional X-rays. Had us scheduled for surgery the next morning. When the UPMC surgical center would not accept our Highmark insurance, he rescheduled us to another facility that would. Surgery took less than an hour and my son is very excited to get back on the diamond. Truly cares and put the patient first. His knowledge is extremely impressive. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Fantastic Dr and it was a Fantastic experience.

I had PIN nerve damage from surgery from different surgeon, Dr Baratz was recommended to correct. dr Baratz was able to correct the problem, all the while completely explaining the procedure and risks associated. Completely satisfied with all things associated with his practice. drive from Dayton Ohio to take advantage of his skills.

Best Of the Best ! 1997 had my right hand done, 2004 had my left hand done both had to be Endoscopic Surgical procedures, due to the fact my statue is very small. 100% successful and was back to my profession as a hairstylist within 2 weeks of surgery. 2019 and still not one issue. Now I have Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, I can tell you without Dr Baratz my carrier could have never last 33 years

Dr Baratz saw me for the first time for a wrist injury. After looking at the wrist, he had x-rays done and reviewed them . He then requested a CT scan, which I was able to get that day! I then went BACK into his office hours later after the CT scan without an appointment and he agreed to view the images. He had a moldable cast made for me shortly after viewing the images. I was able to get an X-ray, appointment, CT scan, another appointment, and a cast all in one afternoon! In other orthopaedic offices I've used, all that would've taken a month! I know this is probably a rare case, but best service I've ever had hands down.

Went to see Dr Baratz specially for shoulder and was seen by a resident. He came in for 2 min and told me that my options were injections or basically get out. Charged my insurance and I still had to pay $350 . Absolutely would not recommend.
