Where to begin. Mens phase 1 building is not up to code. Hippa is broken on a daily basis. They charge your insurance for anything and everything for prescription meds. Farm out all the after care they can to get a kickback for the therapists even putting emotion into it I mean come on its theyre paycheck. This place is a commercial addiction mill. I applied for a job getting out needed a dot medical card. Ive still been taking trazadone for sleep which they prescribed. I need a letter stating I am okay to drive large machinery from caron which they stated they wont provide. cant get a job with that company now. Do yourself a favor and get your act together or find a better facility. Caron doesnt tailor to your needs they tailor to their wallets$. Going to caron and completing theyre program caused me more problems than I ever could have imagined so thanks you guys great job and have a nice day.

overall such an amazing experience kristin sammy kayla breanne jessa some of the most amazing staffpeople i’ve ever met always helped me through everything i had going on while i was there. got privileges for doing well which was rewarding and motivating to my sobriety. Got to share music that i wrote with everyone on campus at chapel chapel music group which was literally such a good group to be involved in. revjackissupreme . also mac and cheese monday favorite day of the week. love this treatment center. went from rock bottom to sky high in a matter of a month with the help of the staff and counselors there. also now in there outpatient program and i am thriving 1010 recommend.

Where to start...I was there first time in 2002.... They truly cared. They brought my whole family in and we worked together. My original counselor Dave has died since then as well as John Carons original dream.I have been there several times over the decades with this struggle and each time it simply gets worse.I wont go in to particulars. Simply go their web site and look up Our Team. I see corporate photos of some very nice people with a lot of letters after their names that mean absolutely nothing. They are so top heavy with administration.Dont not take me as angry. I am not.I am very disappointed. They turned in to another addiction puppy mill. When they were small my counselor Dave was in old original house with the lounge on the main floor. They replaced with the hubris of a museum.It is now a business. Just look at the campus says it all.In a 4 week period I saw my counselor maybe 4 times for one hour each. I saw the resident psychotherapists for two 30 minute sessions and rushed out the door. She used that time to evaluate me?$40000 to bounce a ball across the room or go to the gym and lift empty buckets with rope so you can learn to act as a team in recovery.My father died from alcoholism 5 years ago. He always told me...Never trust a man with a bow tie.He was right.

Would give it zero if i could. Unprofessional counseling staff. Medical portion is a wall of nursing between you and treatment staff. Could have literally died

Awful experience roommate hit me in the head and pulled my hair staff did nothing about it except move her room. No consequences no repercussions Staff was rude. Unnecessary excessive rules. Did not get nearly enough outside time as needed. Was not able to talk to women I could relate to who had gone through similar things in their teen years. Was not able to make decisions about my own treatment parents and counselor made all decisions for MY life. Felt unheard and bullied by community time and time again. Staff was not helpful at all. Overall worst experience at a residential facility Ive ever had.

I went through the adolescent and adolescent extended care program when I was around 14 or 15 years old at Caron in Wernersville. It really was an amazing program and I actually still keep in touch with many of the counselors from when I was a kid and fondly remember so much of the staff Mike O Joy H Tom D Cassandra Darren Father Bill so many more. Really amazing program the staff cares so much and the facility is tip top. The campus truly is a magical place that you cant explain and going through there regardless of outcome is a spiritual experience. 5 stars for sure

On the family visit week my loved ones therapist was on vacation so we couldnt meet with them when we flew there from out of state. They took our money threw our loved one into the system that isnt tailored for each patient dont let them fool you and then spit her out. She was found dead in a motel room 2 months later.

Mental anguish was the only thing that I took away from this place. Let me start with my trusted counselor breaking confidentiality in group in where I was sitting with a group of clients so they can preach to me because I didnt want to go to a halfway house that costed too much money for mom to pay. Doesnt that place get something out of it for sending clients there?.Not only that my mom paid 30000 for services including a year of counseling through phone calls and she didnt get that. My counselors who was crass and offputting and judgemental towards me stopped calling me after 3 months. And when my mom needed help she couldnt get through anyo e. Im sorry this is long but I think people should know
