Dr Arena is a wonderful and bright Doctor at Chester County Care. The nursing staff is outstanding as well. Keep up the great work helping others with important eye issues!

Don't expect warm fuzzies. My spouse asked a simple question about his vision going into surgery & received an unkind response informing him, "this isn't a dr visit. Ask your question tomorrow." Surgery on both eyes seem to be ok although he has lines in his field of vision in the eye first done (that was his question) that he's hoping will go away. As for the office staff, can't say enough positives. Lovely ladies, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. When my time comes for cataract surg, I will not use Dr. Arena. Given our insurance will pay her bill, I would like to have seen more respect & kindness from her.

Had a visit with her today as I wanted to discuss my "glaucoma suspect" status and need for yearly checks. I was told by another provider in the office that I did not need these annual checks due to the normal anatomy of my eye and to f/u with Dr. Arena for visual field and other testing. When I asked about the etiology of my diagnosis and my actual risk her response was "How often do teenagers have heart attacks?". She was rude, dismissive and never reviewed the tests I had done that day and dismissed me with a "see you in 2023". I will never go back to her and am looking for another practice. Eye practices make considerable money deeming patients to be "glaucoma suspects" and can do a lot of unnecessary annual testing at the expense of the patient. Beware!

Very happy with my first visit last year to Dr. Arena; tomorrow will be my second. She definitely keeps up with the latest research and has a very soothing manner.

Dr. Arena is very knowledgeable and explains things in detail in a way you understand. She also went out of her way to help me with a problem after hours. I highly recommend, Dr Arena for all your eye care needs!

My experience with Dr. Arena has been excellent! She is not only extremely knowledgeable re her field but she is warm, caring and exhibits those traits when caring for her patients. She is ready and willing to answer any questions with in depth explanations, Her expertise, and her warmth and caring come through every step of the way..
