I have been a patient with Chester County Eye Care for 23 years. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, kind and professional. Dr. DeStefano is an outstanding doctor. There is no one else that I would trust with my eye care.

My visit (2 cataracts) with Dr. DeStafeno was awful! It was obvious he did not like answering questions and sent me for a 2nd opinion. Afterwards, he callously told me over the phone that he would not do the surgery, and he had the egotistical nerve to suggest a brand new doctor in his practice. This practice is all about how quick they can get patients in and out. This surgery would affect my future eyesight, and because I asked questions about different lenses, he decided I wasn't the type of patient he wanted. (In the end, I found a great surgeon who said the lens he wanted to use would have made my vision worse!)

Very bad experience. Lots of tests with no explanation or answers to questions. Very rude dr. and staff. No social distancing in busy office run like an assembly line money maker.

Made a FREE consultation appointment specifically to determine if I was a good candidate for the Lasik procedure. It turned out that I wasn't. However, I was told that I had 'dry eye' and needed medication for it. This was news to me. My regular OD has found no such dryness and my eyes are actually not dry. I thought this diagnosis provided Dr. Destafeno an opportunity to sell me a product that I truly did not need. Very disappointed with this experience.

I recently had PRK done by Dr. Destafeno and I couldn't be more pleased. From the time of my first visit until my post op I knew I was in the best care. Dr. Destafeno's whole team made me feel at ease and everyone was so kind and made the experience much easier! I will definitely be referring him to my friends and family! Great staff all around!!
