List of John P. Nairn's Reviews
I had the first appointment of the day at 7:45am for my third visit to the West Mifflin office. I was not seen by Dr.Nairn until 9:00 am. I mentioned the wait, and he became very rude, condescending, and arrogant. I will never go back to him again. There are many other excellent options out there.
I was worried that he didn't give me drops for glaucoma nut turns out he was right, I didn't have it.
Didn't help me at all.
Negative experience would rate -1 if possible First scheduled appointment was changed by AIO Then Waited additional 30 past scheduled appointment time AIO Irwin did not know where Dr was, then claimed he was in surgery but could not tell me where his location of surgery. After 30 minutes N.A " offered to take me back and get prepped while we wait for the doctor". N.A. did not have knowledge of if or when the doctor would arrive. SECOND CLASS BUSINESS OPERATION, Arrogance of both AIO and Dr. Nairn seems to be the only excuse why the staff continually ignored the question of where the doctor was in surgery at and when he would be in the in the building Informed AIO staff I was not waiting any longer. Went to AIO online, online assistant could not or would not confirm location of Dr. Nairn ... online assistant offered to send message to someone to contact me later.
If arrogance, apathy, and a condescending attitude appeals to you he’s your man! He ruined my one eye and when I told him I wanted to wait to get cataract surgery the other eye he told me I had to get it done right away so the other eye would heal up. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. I paid 4000 extra dollars for a specialty lens. When I told my optometrist the story he never heard of such a thing that it wouldn’t heal up and less I got the other eye done immediately. I got my other eye done by a different ophthalmologist and fortunately the surgery on my second eye went very well. I suggest you avoid him like the plague
I saw Dr. Gregory Dziubek on 6/26/2030. I had an allergic reaction to Alphagan and he was in agreement with Dr. Stephen Reinsel’s decision. He was very helpful and put my mid at ease.
Paid to have laser cataract surgery. The surgery didn’t go well. I experienced a problem with the eye and ate up an appointment to see Nairn. An optometrist sees me. I set up another appointment. A different Ophthalmologist sees me. I hear Nairn in the background barking orders. You would think he would at least come out and ask me how I’m doing and how my eye is. If you’re looking for Arrogance apathy and a condescending attitude he’s your guy. I want to king Hartman to get my other eye done and the surgery went well.
Very professional, friendly and I feel he cares about my eyes.
I visited Dr Nairn at the Kittanning office. My eye doctor recommended him after a bad experience with another specialist. I absolutely loved Dr. Nairn! Listened to me, very polite, answered all questions and treated me with respect. His office staff was also very, very nice and answered questions! I am so thankful for finding Dr. Nairn!
Had two surgeries to reduce IOP after glaucoma drops no longer worked. Dr. Narin is great. To have a surgeon of his caliber less than a two-hour drive from my home is a real blessing. I would highly recommend him

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
