I went to Dr Imbriglia to have a prior hand/wrist surgery corrected. Though I don’t doubt this Dr’s skill ( based on experience, alone ) 2 months removed from the surgery his optimism and congeniality seems to have faded. My biggest problems however have been with his staff. Frustrating to communicate with and unsympathetic to concerns top my lengthy list of grievances. 5 days after my surgery and after having taken pain meds as prescribed, I was told by Dr Imbriglia’s nurse that I shouldn’t still be in pain and was advised to ‘take some aspirin’. And that about said it all.

Dr. Imbriglia has performed wrist saving surgery on me twice. I have had RA x50 years and have had many wrist arthroplastys. When the company stopped making the part I need he improvised and came up with a solution. My wrists are fine 3 years post op and I did not have to have a fusion which is what all the other doctors suggested!

I had 2 unsuccessful surgeries on my elbow by another physician. Dr. Imbriglia was able to correct those surgeries and put me on the road to recovery. Having worked in healthcare. Administration all my life, I can honestly say Dr. Imbriglia's professionalism and bedside manner is top notch and that translates over to his staff as well.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I had left carpal tunnel & left ulnar nerve release one month ago. The suturing of both incisions was very poor & many of the sutures came undone leaving me with two open wounds. A return visit resulted in them applying steri-strips which quickly fell off because I was having excessive drainage from the ulnar nerve site. Having been a past OR nurse, I was surprised to see the incision was deep & there were no subcutaneous sutures visible. I had to take an antibiotic due to open draining wound. I am presently under another doctor’s care & patiently waiting for the incision to heal. It continues to drain & require dressing change 5-6 times a day. The carpal tunnel closed incision is quite nasty looking.
