List of Prudencio Lucero Md's Reviews
He did a heart cath on me in 2021. Thought he did a great job and he spent as much time as I wanted talking to me about the results. Same think when I went to his office. We went over several things and I never felt like he was rushing the appointment. Was very thorough and talked in terms that a layman could understand.
He came into my room the morning after the heartcath procedure he performed the previous evening. He never introduced himself and since I had never seen him before, I had no idea who he was. He did not ask how I was, if I had any questions about the procedure, never explained to me what he found or what the prognosis was. He tore off the board that was taped to my right wrist, threw it in the garbage (even though I said another doctor told me it should stay on for 24 hours, to which Dr. Lucero said "What doctor?"). He then almost sprinted from the room, leaving me wondering what had just happened. If this is any indication of his bedside manner, I hope I don't have to deal with him again.
Great doc
AWFUL! Mom had to have a stress test and she walks with a rollator he was telling nurse to put her on treadmill, not nuclear stress test! Nurse said “ she can’t go on treadmill “ he was insistent! It was hateful. I refused to let her have the treadmill test and she had nuclear. We switched doctors.
Dr. Lucero has helped me out immensely after my heart attack back in 2016. I see some people left bad reviews, but sometimes people also need to ask the right questions and not just sit there in awe of the doctor as if they are a god of some sort (I find that to be a trait of my mother's and all her friends). Also, I see a few bad reviews about the staff. Let me say that every single time I have been there, they have been EXCEPTIONALLY friendly.....and no I am not related to any of them.
his nurse is just plain nasty. thinking of changing doctors
Dr Lucerno has proven to be a huge disappointment. He has absolutely no ability to make a patient feel positive about his situation. He lacks any type of professionalism as a physician and doesn’t care about his patients. He deserves much lower than the 2.8 rating he has received
My mom had to go in for a stress test. She has been to Dr. Lucero several times before and really likes him. Anna who works in his office is awful!! She is nasty to the patients and family. Other patients waiting with my mom were talking about how mean she. She will definitely scare his patients away. If you can’t be kind and compassionate, don’t work around people, especially in health care. My mom said she won’t go back. My review is based on my mom’s dealing with Anna. Dr. Lucero was not in.
I say no stars but it makes me put 1. I was recently released from the hospital and asked to follow up with wexford cardiology. I made the appointment, and no one told me that if I couldn't make it, then they wouldn't see me at all as a patient. I have a 10mo old son, and his baby sitter canceled at the last minute. I called the same day as my app to reschedule it, and this "nurse" got on the phone, and very rudely told me I can't reschedule. She was so rude, she shouldn't be working with ppl
I love Dr. Lucero and he is the reason why I have my life back. I spent 2 years in and out of doctors offices and the ER only to be blown off saying nothing was wrong with me. I could barely get out of bed during this time because I was so dizzy and my heart rate was out of control. Thank god the last ER doctor I saw referred me to him. Dr. Lucero immediately knew what was wrong with me and put me on a medication that has changed my life. I am so grateful to him for taking the time to help me. Also, if a patient has a problem he immediately responds to calls after office hours. I recommend him to everyone that needs a good cardiologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
